  Hello Lesley,
He/She probably does not care, but I would make greater progress
toward Him/Her if I had clearer understanding which I suspect upon
reaching would all be wiped away anyway,, but for now..........

Looks like you have a great handle on it.I always find your posts very
helpful.
I am much more interested in the different states or levels. Kundalini
is sexual energy but I'm reading that the whole purpose of all of this
is for it to ascend, meet and join with Shiva. We are also discussing
Samadhi and/satori. In my Christian training and reading of the saints
of that tradition, right before ecstasy or Union there is a freeze out
so to speak. I think Wim called it the icy ocean. I recall Amanada
writing of the respiration and heart ceasing.I think of it as the thrill
chill.(Thrill of the soul and chill of the body.) I'm studying other
material of this paraylisis. I m trying to reconcile that, with words of
bliss out and the like.Walking around a certain way,,,talking etc. and
yet right before Union there is paralysis so these can not be the
same. One is a physical bliss, endorphin release? And the other is a
freeze Union with Divine??
I am not in any way starting a *my bliss is better than that bliss*.
Stop.In fact at this point I don't care.I am being selfish in an attempt
to distinquish what I experience. And if I speak of certain rituals it
is not bragging, it is simply that different things happen.Life is full
of rituals as simple as doing dishes. I am trying to understand why for
myself, there are certain ones where I do not have the ability to speak.
I can walk around, my head aglow but I can't talk. It is as if the motor
skill for speech was turned off or altered. It was far from an endorphin
release and I did not enter Samadhi or Union. (I am trying to grasp the
Sanskrit words.) Also, in the presence of a certain someone, I
experience spiritual intoxication. Here, so, another level. And on and
on, higher and higher.Or actually, I will re=word different and more
different. But I'm centering in on the paralysis and freeze out for now.
Taking a fresh look and re-reading GK who speaks of heat but also this
big freeze. Is the big freeze the step right before Union? The western
saints and mystics wrote of such. They used to park some saint out in
the hall and just keep an eye out for when she came back around.A more
modern saint describes the disappearing of the senses one by one when
sliding into preparation for this state. He said that they all left most
of the time but once in a while the sense of hearing would remain on the
earthly plane and also that it was okay because he did not find it a
distraction. (Padre Pio). After Indian saints and others *came out of
it* diciples wrote down their words.
I know about kriyas and muscle contraction but afterwards people don't
speak of that as the Divine Union, or speak great Wisdom,,to my
knowledge and IMO.I am not seeing that as the big freeze. IMHO. Consider
this whole letter IMHO.There, hopefully I have offended none.
Maybe I am not expressing well, thx for your patience and maybe this will
help. Here's what I am looking at.......(below).
I know that one *should* simply ,,,be still and know I AM your G*d but I
,at this time,am pursueing, knowing how sometimes He/She so enjoys the
game of hide and seek.
Blessings to you and yours,
+ Maureen

This force includes the two great forces of attraction and repulsion. Electricity and magnetism are but manifestations of it. This is the power that brings about that continuious adjustment of internal relations to external relations, which is the basis of transmigration of souls, punar janman(re-birth) in the doctrines of the Hindu philosophers. A Yogi must throughly subjugate this power before he can attain Moksham
