IMHO, yes.
Film is pretty specific stuff. In "the old days" B&W film wasn't even
panchromatic! It came labeled "orthochromatic", ie: a striped shirt of the
right colors would show as solid!
No dispute as to the existence of auras, just the validity of the
photographs. If auras are outside the visible spectrum, which they have to
be or else they would be commonly seen, then of what part of the spectrum are
they? Does film respond to this spectrum? Film does, indeed, respond to
some parts of the electro magnetic spectrum that are not visible, x-rays, for
example. Are auras x-rays? If so that too can be measured. I know of no
measuring of auras as radiation. Perhaps Dan Winter has some info here. IR?
Perhaps, but good luck getting IR to show up on regular film!
At least one well publicized "aura" photography technique is nothing more
than a large camera with diffraction grating over the lens and lights on the
inside. When challenged, the developers claim that they themselves "see" the
aura and use the device to "replicate" it. As this technique is now being
franchised I must assume they are teaching how to see auras too!
Kirlian photography is something else. It has an interesting premise and
something seems to be photographed. I have never been present for a Kirlian
photography session and so cannot say much as to whether what is revealed is
the aura or not.
