Dear Tony, David and List,
Well, I very much relate to Tony's experience of feeling the memory of Satori
as residual and bliss as an after effect. Since my experience, too, is
utterly worthless (no offense meant David <grin>) I feel safe to relate it.
I've experienced what I sense is Satori 5 times beginning 3/5/97--about twice
a year. The first time I went "through the lotus door" and the bliss was
there. Subsequently the state seemed to be *inside* the bliss. I try to
describe it to myself later, rather futilely as a state of transcendence,
heaven, Love and the interior of bliss. For me, this state is not ecstasy or
bliss per se. I think it is more "that quiet place."
