Over 3 years ago, after my first psychedelic trip (which gave me the
Samadhi... it's quite joyfull to have Samadhi as the first spiritual
experience one experiences), I felt some need to crystallize my experience
in my email-signature. I used the phrase "Bliss; DNA takes care of her
own", and (much) later was amazed as to what extent that phrase can be
used to describe kundalini (of which I knews *nothing* at the time) also.
I felt that DNA was the "Primordial Mother" of life, and the thing that
unified all life/creation... and that DNA herself had felt like giving me
a "favour" by manifesting herself to me, so that I will be "enlightened".
The feeling that it was feminine in nature was very strong. I have asked
other people who use psychedelics whether they "perceive" ascending
spirals during their trips, but have come to the (false) conclusion that
the ascending spiral thing was just characteristic of me, a result of the
peculiarities of my CNS in particular.
It might be that that trip had loosened some knots a little bit, so that
only slight meditation awakened my k "for real". My time after the
experience was full of joy, but none of the ego-crushing side effects were
present. It might be possible that some people who report that they have
awakened their kundalini/received shaktipat have actually awakened a sort
of "kundalini lite", of the kind I had back then.
Oh, and as a side note, I had a birthday yesterday (23 years). I'm getting
old enough to actually having to think how old I am when asked (even
though I can still remember my name). What was the "real" astrological
sign of late march/early december, again? Translating from Finnish I would
get "Carrier of serpent" ("kaeaermeenkantaja")... I know it is not
Sagittarius. Not really that important, I'm not into astrology, just
figured someone here might be.
