Now, do not take me wrong, this is a joke.... or may be not.... I don't know
anymore...
Warning, joke coming up...
....Just write some nasty personal things and you will be off in no time....
All kidding aside, about once a month, Angelique writes a post telling
someone, (could've been you in this case) how to get off the list the
official way. I always keep one of those posts handy in case I want to
leave. Then when I need it... I cannot find it. Let me see if I can find it
for you now. OK you are in luck.
What I did at one point when I thought the list was too much for me, I went
to the list web site http://www.list-server.net/kundalini/index.html and
with a bit of hunting I found an automated way of doing it. Here is that URL
http://www.list-server.net/kundalini/sub.shtml
**************Note to Angelique, you could put the above URL in your sig.
maybe, then whenever somebody gets one of your posts they may just see it.
But then who would be looking for it??? I am staying...
Love, Wim
Anyway here is one of Angelique's posts regarding unsubbing oneself:
*********
If you ever want to remove yourself from this mailing list, or from the
digest version of this mailing list, there are several methods to choose
from.
Be sure to check the header of the incoming list mail, to see by what
address you are subscribed.
send the following command in the BODY, (not the subject) of an email to
*************
<kundalini-requestATnospamList-Server.net>:
unsubscribe
*************
be sure to spell it correctly.. :) Computer cannot comprehend typos.
To unsub from the digest send it to
<kundalini-digest-requestATnospamList-Server.net>
Or you can send mail to <MajordomoATnospamList-Server.net> with the following
command in the body of your email message:
unsubscribe kundalini <or> unsubscribe kundalini-digest
or from another account, besides the one this post was sent to
unsubscribe kundalini <youATnospamyour_server.net>
<or> unsubscribe kundalini-digest <youATnospamyour_server.net>
If Majordomo sez you are not on the list, then you are probably
subscribed by another address. Check the header of the incoming list mail
to see where the mail is being sent to, and unsub that address.
You will receive a message asking you to confirm your unsubscription.
Simply press reply and send it back whence it came, to confirm your exit.
Happy Trails!
Or you can go to the website:
http://www.list-server.net/kundalini/sub.shtml
For a full description of Majordomo features and commands send a post with
help
in the body of the message, to
<MajordomoATnospamList-Server.net>
If you ever need to get in contact with the owner of the list,
(if you have trouble unsubscribing, or have questions about the
list itself) send email to <owner-kundaliniATnospamList-Server.net> .
This is the general rule for most mailing lists when you need
to contact a human. Or the List Mystress.
Blessings..
Your faithful K-list servant, ...
