Zala,

Some of my ancestors ate almost nothing but the buffalo. They used every
part of the animal, and today they still continue to eat buffalo meat. On
the other hand, some of my other ancestors ate whatever there was at hand,
meat, grains, fruit, roots and berries. So you might say my genetic code is
that of both meat, vegetable, and fruit eating. And I do eat all of those
things.

We are here not to judge others for their actions, but to love all of
creation. If that means the Universe has provided an animal for my
consumption, then I gratefully accept it as part of my diet. This is a food
chain planet, whether one believes it or not. Yes, even you will feed the
worms one day.

I wear leather shoes, I use a down comforter to keep warm in the winter,
wear cotton and wool clothing as well as synthetics. Oh yes, I even have
worn shoes made of rubber... now that I think about it, I guess that rubber
tree must have howled when it was pierced for the sap it contained. Or that
straw hat - sheesh, the grain that the straw came from must have hurt when
it was cut. I drink water, think how that water feels when it is separated
from the mass.

I thank the Creative Force for the cow that provided the leather, the geese
that gave their down, the cotton plant that gave me that blouse, and the
sheep for the wool for the sweater, and yes, even the rubber tree and the
straw plant. And the water I drink - it keeps me alive, and in that water
are sentient beings - ah well, down the hatch!

If you were to live by your code, you would find an island, go naked, eat
nothing, drink nothing, and live in a state of utopia, but not for long.

Now, one of the first steps to become an enlightened being is to be non
judgemental of others, and finding you love all, regardless of their code
of living. Now please, may I ask you to get off your soap box and start
accepting others as much as you accept yourself? In other words, dear Zala,
give it a rest, it's a no win argument that you are presenting.

So - instead of responding with harsh critism, take it all in your stride
and leave well enough alone... this line of rhetoric will go nowhere, and
you will be using a lot of bandwidth for those who pay for the time they
spend on their computers to receive and give information pertaining to the
trials and tribulations of that which we call kundalini.
