>Actually, this means about the same thing. By tending to 'disbeleive', one has entered any consideration with a predetermined opinion. Once formed, whether toward disbeleif, or beleif, it is difficult to objectively evaluiate and change. In this sense, skeptic, tending toward disbeleif, becomes much the opposite end of the pendulum swing from, tending to belief, as in being gullible, ready to beleive withot adequate evidence. Both are going to miss it on many things approached from such a postion, becasue from both, one will ted to seek and favor that which seems to support the predetermination, while ignoring, overlooking, dismissing, that which does not support it. The ideal is an open, objective, postion, tending neither toward disbeleif, nor beleif.
