Well, never mind! I admit, for 50 years or so, our technology will make
such living pretty basic, but beyond that I envisage us having the
ability to make space stations, other worlds, and even the Earth, very
beautiful places indeed. Even if we manage to wreck the Earth in the
next few decades, beyond that I expect us to be able to repair the
damage *almost completely* if we want to, even to the extent of
recovering many newly-extinct species, rebuilding forests and jungles,
ice caps, and so on.
