But that's not what I was trying to say. I wasn't talking about eradicating
negative emotions but about transforming them. By transforming them the
energy that was used up by them previously is still there, only handled and
directed differently.

Well, I like to think I would be happy to be happy. I don't need much
stimulation and change from outside to keep me going and to make my life
worthwile. Being content no matter what's coming, doesn't sound too bad to
me.

But at the same time constant challenge and variety can be overwhelming and
burn someone out, as I know from experience. Now all I am seeking is peace

But it is exactly this passion of mine that got me into trouble many times
before. Whenever I simply acted on my passions, I sure had it coming. For
example, when I acted out on anger I to hurt other people's feelings,
damaged property, got myself removed from several courses at school as a
teenager, just to mention a few. I don't believe in acting out on passion
(anymore)because it has caused me nothing but harm in the past.
