Freda's story made the point better than I could. Wim's argument lost me
when he flushed empathy down the toilet:

However, his masterful translation of Amanda's joke is so akin to my own
beloved brand of absurdo/weirdo humor that I found it funny:

See, here is an example of good, family-fun type humor, so warped and stupid
that no one can be sure if they should be offended or not. In fact,
according to my politically correct handbook, Wim's joke should go down in
history as a clear credit to the comedy industry. Let's all try to follow
his sterling example, gang.
