I would think just about everyone intelligent knows that by now, anyway.
He twisted a lot of people's views to suit himself; notably Darwin and
Nietzsche.

Depends upon how you define "natural." I define it to include everything
in the Universe. You appear to regard humanity and human behaviour as
unnatural. Hence the difference of emphasis in our approaches, perhaps.

Humans take animal behaviour to extremes, as we are able to calculate
possibilities and make our actions more efficient, but animals have been
observed murdering other members of their own species (chimpanzees),
committing genocide (ants), and raping (chimpanzees, dolphins, ducks). I
don't doubt those behaviours could be observed in numerous species. So
what is natural and what is not? I just feel it would be better if
people didn't behave like that, but they do.

Of course it is.

I think you've answered that yourself, where you say below, "Death is
inevitable of course." But, for instance, God is said to have ordered
the Jews to exterminate the people of the promised land, Palestine (see
the Bible or the Tanakh). But going beyond what some ancient and self-
contradictory books say, when we look at the world God is supposed to
have created, we see suffering and death all around us, with creatures
killing each other, even without human intervention. What's more, this
system of life would, as you have pointed out, break down disastrously
if the death and suffering were removed from the system. That doesn't
look like setting a "good" example to me.

Yes, I do think it is hypocritical. But show me a God-based holy book
that doesn't have God or the Gods asking someone to kill other people.
(I don't suppose the Buddhist Dhammapada does, but they don't believe in
any Gods as such anyway. I'm not sure about the Analects of Confucius,
but again, God/s are not relevant to that book.)

I have made no such claim. I said *he rationalized* his thoughts, i.e.,
he created spurious explanations to back up his plans.
