Hmm... here is my model for shaktipat (Ville moving to his
not-so-pompous-but-tediously-systematic form of presentation):

Shaktipat is an experience in the family of spiritual experiences, lasting
less that 24 hours.

The experience of shaktipat can lead to awakening of kundalini in
suspectible individuals, just like various mind-control techniques.

Xians are "shielded" against shaktipat-induced kundalini through some
neurochemical mechanism, which is why they only experience the rush, after
which their experience terminates naturally. Hence the Toronto-blessing
and pentecostalism. I have read some reports, and none of them indicates
that k had awakened through their experiences.

Does this make any sense? I have not experienced anything in the
shaktipat-family of experiences, but am interested in it anyway (nice
topic to discuss with xians).

Spiritual people in touch with themselves? Isn't that an oxymoron? (joke)

Going specific about this pentecostal/shaktipat-experience might be
interesting to wider audience, especially the large group of xians who
hang out at places where they "receive" the Spirit (40%-alc. vol). Letting
them know that what they experience is not from some creature on the cloud
might help them search for explanations... spirituality should be
trans-intellectual, not anti-intellectual.
