Thank you. Yes, you 'define' me and how this 'feels' to my 'senses'
quite well.

As to a firm yet gentle handshake, from as early as I recall in my life,
I've had a handshake that often surprised people, firm, yet gentle, I've
realized it refelcts an inner confidence and strength that was there
even before my consciousness was aware of it, men especially, that
weren't expecting it from a woman, espcially a young woman, and one that
give no 'masculine' or 'tough' appearance in her deameanor. I am most
certainly very feminine in my apearance, demeanor, and mannerisms, and
that often causes surprise when I shake hands 'like a man'. I've had men
I respected, what we shall say, as good judges of character, tell me
that one might get the impression I'd not be one to take concern for in
any situation involving coming into a position of opposition or
competition, or one to place into a position in which they needed
someone they knew 'had what it takes' to stand strong, that could be
trusted, counted on under pressure, until they shook my hand. Though
women, espeically insecure ones, sometimes found it discomforting,
strange, perhaps threatening. People seem to not be so surprised by it
now, perhaps because I'm older, perhaps the changing culture, in which
women are take more seriously, have moved into once male only domains.
I'm also one of those that even in a strange place, I may be as lost as
anyone else, but people choose ME to approach for help in finding their
own way. I very much think ths 'comes through' at the invisible levels,
why I often do very quickly and easily gain the open trust of others,
and it is in that condition of trust that this 'channel' we speak of
opens, to allow such exchange of energies.
