Geez, you could have murdered someone in that state

How do you go about idenitifing a presence ?

Yes, that was the tip I was given by Mystress to if
someone bothers you in or from the astral realm;
pray to whatever deity you feel comfortable with.
Sounds like it may be a good tip.
Too bad the mind and the memory
does not work in same way in the
astral as it does in the waking state.
I wonder if these presences are not attracted on a
like for like basis, i.e. that there is something
in the attracting personality / identity that
reflects or mirrors the presence that is
being attracted. Many esoteric rituals are based on
this principle. I wonder if not in the astral / sleep
if you go unprotected, the presences are called upon
unconsciously, perhaps mirroring subconscious memories
or thoughts.
The reason I say this is I got the feeling my grey
friend from the astral may have originated from me.
It did not feel wholly alien, somewhat familiar and
I did feel as if I had some sort of control over it.
In the past, it has been felt as if I have been
challenged to mind duels in the astral,
sort of sporting events where the mind is used to
disintegrate the fabric of the other's astral cloak.
But none of these events have ever come about.
I got the feeling the grey form used its mind to pull
at my skin and I was unable to reply to this
challenge.
If I had remembered to come up with something
to challenge its form, who knows what might have
happened ?
