:)) I haven't heard this story before, but it sounds
wonderful. :)

:)) Nice. What tradition do you follow ?

Are you familiar with Dream Yoga ?

:)) I know what you mean !

The Potala has always looked very alluring
and prayer flags and prayer wheels is something I
have always known.
The colors and forms of the Tibetan culture just holds
an incredible attraction. :)

:) was it you who receieved some kind of
shakti pat or blessing from him ?
I just remember someone on the list telling about that
a long time ago. :)

I hope so too. :)
When I hear he was coming here, I threw myself on the
phone to phone up the Buddhist group that had
invited him here and ask if I could come along
and help them for the time he is here.
It was so emotional, I sat down and cried with joy
afterwards. I don't know where that
came from. LOL !
But I do have a past life as a Tibetan monk so...

There is a good documentary about Tibetan salt
nomads around.
It's called The Saltmen of Tibet and Snow Lion
sells the video.
The lives of these salt nomads is probably very close
to the life of the original Tibetan nomads.
Replete with yaks and all. :)

Heinrich Harrer
talks a lot about the sometimes difficult
temper of the yak in his Seven Years in Tibet. :)
It's a great book I really recommend if you
haven't read it.

Best regards,

Amanda.
