tsk! tsk! now, now. No one is 'beyond holding
apples in front of my eyes". It can be called
by another name: self-discipline.

However, I find it fascinating that there are so
many wonderful viewpoints and I don't therefore
feel at all that we 'should change the subject'.
Why? It's not really exhausted yet. If you
don't want to participate, Kim, though, you really
don't have to, you know!

After all, there IS a direct link between concentration
and the discipline of training oneself concentration...and
Kundalini. Without being able to concentrate (on an apple,
in the beginning training sessions), it makes it almost
impossible to guide the Kundalini upward through the
chakras.
That's why so many people experience such awful side
effects; they don't know how...or can't...direct the energy.

And that really opens up an aside to the conversation of
meditative trance.

See? There are many things connected with trance and it's
good to remain open minded to all possibilities....then
choose
what is 'right' for oneself, according to one's personality
and
belief system, without negating anyone elses beliefs (which
isn't
really very useful and just chases people away).

Hugs,
Adele
