Hello, folks

This is Jon-Carl with a crazy idea -- or maybe not so crazy.

I tend to try to understand life and philosophies by fictionalizing the concepts I am struggling with.

TO this end I have come up with a crazy idea to do a comic book with seven superheroes, each of which manifests the power of a particular chakra -- and there's the catch -- each one also has ignored another chakra so they all need each other to keep each other balanced and succeed.

So then they take on the forces of non-enlightenment.

Silly, perhaps, but I think a step up from the mindless uses of power rampant in comic books today. I can't believe how much the values are almost nihilistic.

And this is one of the big influences on youth. I won't even begin with those video games.

It just seems to me that we could be using these media to teach about subjects which kids won't learn about is school or in church -- honest uses and abuses of sexuality for instance. Enlightened use of drugs for another.

SO what do you folks think?

Not asking for permission -- certainly not asking for scolding -- but what would seven chakra superheroes look like to all of you?

I'm especially interested in the blind spots of each superhero -- can't have plot based only on bliss, bliss, bliss.
