I have two friends who have been experiencing K manifestations continuously,
B. for over 30 years, and D. for 13 years. Both of them experienced only
bliss and joy in the early years (B. for the first 7 years; D. for the first
6 years.) Then everything hit the fan. D. was a yogini and dancer in
supreme physical condition when her K awakened. She is also a therapist who
spent years working through layers and layers of grief, fear, anger and other
"negative" emotional blocks. The past 7 years of her K process have been an
increasingly difficult ordeal at the physical level. Her chronic spine pain
and illnesses became so severe she lost ability to walk and has been confined
to a wheel chair for the past year.
B. has spent the past 27 years contacting healers and spiritual advisors from
every tradition he could find in an ever-elusive search for someone who could
help balance his K. The energies gave him such distress (after those initial
years of bliss) that he was unable to finish his college education and to
this day has trouble with mental concentration and energy-excess insomnia.
He is particularly skeptical of anyone who thinks they've got it all under
control because they are having blissful experiences with K.
