I had my K risen, also experienced strong sway of my spine and heard
crackling sound of it. This is the part that I think is universal. BUT I
have never seen anything like a snake or serpent of any sort during any time
of my rising K. IMO, serpent or cobra is a cultural symbol not universal.

Everything we experience in our conscious mind becomes part of our empirical
experience. Everything we see, hear, feel, believe or wish for in the
conscious or unconscious mind might resurface from the unconscious mind
activities, such as our dreams or, I hate to say it, in meditation. With
the rising K, you might even see it in the conscious mind when you are
awake. I did and it was not very pleasant. I don't like to be a broken
record to repeat "Don't feed any energy to what you see." as the Taoists
have said. But that's the pitfall here. If you reinforce your vision with
any feedback, be it religious or emotions, you are likely to step into the
world of entities and very hard to come back to the human world with your
loved ones. Even worse, you might be steping into the world of mentally ill
too.

I know this is not a very encouraging post, but I've been there and done
that. That's a way of hard returns. Think more than twice before you step
in. Perhaps, just perhaps, K also helped me see this...

Love and Reverence,

Jay
