Perhaps you are referring to the fact I mentioned
that I have a woman friend who is studying the Kabbala
and said that she found that, historically, women
were not allowed to study it. That was her statement,
not mine.
Actually, I was scheduled to begin studying with a
Rabbi this fall (the Kabbala), including learning Hebrew,
but my mother is dying and that's taking up most of
my time.
Anyway, I love your offer about 'if you need an anonymous
Rabbi to talk to, I'm here for you'---meaning anyone on
the list, of course.
