Uh, yeah!

Not everyone craves visions. Some fear them. Others could care less. Some
enjoy them and let go. Some study them. Depends on what you think you need.

My first impression when reading your post was that these "beings" who are
bartering with you really feel like aspects of yourself, running you in
circles. You can keep chasing visions, but unconsciously, you'll continue to
make yourself "pay" for them until you release a "tit-for-tat" attitude about
visions, until you feel worthy of them. I suspect then that their value will
change for you.

The hubby and I were having a discussion yesterday about Reiki (and thusly K
and energy stuff). He has a hard time believing that there's some unlimited
helpful energy just hanging around waiting to be asked. He's of the opinion
that good things must be worked for. I countered that it depends on it you
see God as a vengeful source or a benevolent source, whether you see human
nature as strayed from its course (a la original sin) or merely ignorant of
it (a la awakening). Boils down also to whether one believes life must be
controlled, forced to fit the will (or some dictated will of God), or whether
life should be trusted and allowed to flow, intertwining the individual will.
My point to him was that the work of Reiki wasn't directing or believing,
but rather stepping back, experiencing and getting quiet enough to hear the
real questions, answers. The bullshit details that of a
modality/religion/belief/practice really on serve to chat up the rational
mind, which at the same time can sometimes serve to soothe that rational mind
long enough to experience the intuitive. Much as guided meditations can keep
the rational mind busy enough to quit analyzing the intuitive experiences
long enough to let them even be perceived.

Ah, yes. Rambling again!
