Tony: >>strong and safe arousal of K a Guru is absolutely necessary otherwise bad things can happen.

Karin: But what about the people who experienced a spontaneous awakening? Most of us never met a Shaktipat Guru and yet the K in some of us is wide awake nonetheless.

Me: Agreed, I never knew what this was for five years, nothing went wrong, I needed no Guru, no outside source, never received Shaktipat -

Tony: We all know about the other dangers associated with K arousal. Some may have risen K up the spine to the
higher Chakras by the own effort, but invariably it descends again and can bring despondency.
>
Karen: <snip> I disagree with the idea to totally discard the lower chakras. Those are required for proper grounding and for dissolving and transforming the negative aspects of one's personality.

Me: Energy comes in from my feet and goes up. It goes to the sixth and seventh chakras, circulates and returns... As it opened the 1st chakra, I went through many issues of negativity. When it nestled in the 2nd chakra, I was one sexy bitch (levity here). So... tell me please, when does it descend and bring on despondency? After fifteen years, perhaps I missed something...

Tony: This is why the Guru and spiritual method is safer and permanent. Some people on activating Chakras by-pass the Heart Chakra almost altogether.

Me: Perhaps if one is not ready and forces the issue of K awakening this would happen, but I find that when one is ready for the process of an awakening, nothing can prevent it... and it doesn't quit, go stale, drive us to a mental ward, it just is. Perhaps you are speaking from standpoint of those whom seek to activate Kundalini when they are not really ready for it... dunno - but when it hit the heart chakra I felt it, big time! First the stabs and then I felt the most incredible warm/cool sensation that I described as a minty chocolate feeling oozing throughout me. That, to me was LOVE and blending with the All.

Karin: The safest thing appears to be to integrate all the chakras. At least this is what K is supposed to do: To raise through all the chakras without bypassing a single one because, in the end, they are all required in the process of liberation.

Me: Well said, couldn't have said it any clearer... <applause>.

much love, dor
