I haven't read that yet, but I will look at it when I have some time...

I would say that in terms of physics, as far as I am aware, it isn't
clear yet whether or not our conscious experiences are basic or not.
Certainly, the prevailing theories require "observation" of phenomena
before they can establish themselves as real, but the big problem in
physics at present is that nobody knows just what constitutes an
observation: a person being conscious of an event, or just an atom
bouncing off another? The maths doesn't tell us, and neither is there a
convincing theory about it.

Some, but not many, I suspect! At present, that is more of a religious
concept: God's awareness sustaining the reality of all, for example.

As the physicist might say, if an event goes unobserved, is it real? The

answer is, as I understand it, "No, not until it is observed, or its
consequences are observed." Observation, unfortunately, remains
stubbornly undefined.

Life seems to be too fast and too changeable to be able to stick to any
particular view for long.
