Hi List,
IMO to really get in-depth in the study of the mind...we would need to
define what the mind is. In my studies, I have formed the opinion that it
is composed of thoughts. I could be wrong but many east Indian philosophers
agree with me. Which is one of the reasons that in meditation we try to get
beyond thought i.e. beyond the mind. This is only one opinion of many and I
think that it would be hard to prove or disprove any theory of the mind.
The mind/body question has been plaqueing psychologists for centuries! Much
love, Julie
