Dear friends,

I shall be unable to post for 2-3 weeks and will be going nomail I got
many questions about Hisbonenus (Hitbonenut) meditation

Here is a short explanation.

More will follow in about 3 weeks.

The Jewish process of Hisbonenus, is one of thinking analytically (Binah
of Binah) with great concentration (Daas) in order to understand, (Kesser
of Bina). This can be applied to any type of thinking such as Math or
Science.

The subject matter of this understanding process in Kabbalistik Hisbonenus
is the Unity of G-d and the Creation of the Worlds, i.e. the order of
Hishtalshelus - the chaining down of the worlds or how the something came
out of the Nothing

The Meditative part is a Vessel for the thinking and enhances it.

In Avodas Halev - the Labor of the Heart, it comes during Davening
(Prayer) when one is supposed to go over the Iyun (deep analysis) of the
Hisbonenus with great Concentration.

In Avodas Hamochin - the Labor of the Mind, the mind becomes so engrossed
in the Unity of G-d that the Concentration is automatic and total.

The goal of Hisbonenus is Hispaalus - The awakening of the Mind and Heart
to G-dlyness.

My series is designed to teach Active Meditation in the way of the Labor
of the Mind OR the heart.
