Hello, I am the List Mystress.. in it's original form, the list was an
email discussion forwarded by Haakon Rian Ueland <huelandATnospamjancomulti.com>,
at the request of the KRC. In Jun, 96 Richard Satin set it up as an email
list, he passed it onto me in Feb.97. At that time there were about 125
members, these days the membership usually hovers around 400.. I haven't
counted the membership lately, but it has had pretty steady growth, and
has been the inspiration for a number of other, related lists.

>Is it always question and answer format?
No.. it just has been that way lately. It is set up as a giant ongoing
international, multicultural conversation about Kundalini, it's varying
philosophies, manifestations symptoms, etc.
Members are free to post about any topic which relates to Kundalini,
personal experiences in particular are encouraged. Thus, we get to know
each other.
Usually, the traffic on the list is on the heavy side, and so we ask
members to refrain from posting what they have not written.. long quotes
from their favorite teachers, reposts from other lists, reposted websites,
etc.. so as to prioritize the bandwidth to member-written material.
Generally, if you didn't write it, or it can be found in a library or on
the web, don't post it, leave the space open for original thoughts. It's a
conversation, a community, not a library or a church.
There are a few other list guidelines, but they are mostly the same as
etiquette guidelines for any list.. not reposting private mail to the list,
etc..
We have a number of masters of various spiritual disciplines, who share
of their wisdom, as spirit moves them to.. but I think, the majority of the
members have been spontaneously awakened, and are on the list seeking
information about coping with their condition. Their questions spark
conversations, and we all learn more. Anyone can ask, anyone can answer,
privately or publicly and the recipient can decide for themselves what
ideas are most resonant for them.
Generally, for every person who posts there are a dozen more who have
the same experience and have been wondering about it, so it works out well.
Sometimes they find what they wanted, sometimes they don't, but often I
think the sense of community and acceptance folks find here, the compassion
of shared experience is really all anyone needs. It helps to grow faith,
and Goddess provides the rest.
"Where 2 or more are gathered" works in cyber space as well as physical
space. Thus, the K-list is a kind of informal, non denominational Temple of
Kundalini.. a safe harbor. Sometimes it takes the form of respectful
philosophical debate, other times, like with any community it provides
support for folks in crisis.. spiritual emergency.

Sounds like quite a schedule.. I have always wanted to go to Findhorn.
But I think I will probably be building one here, instead..

Well, you have come to the right place! That is the list's purpose.

That, too..:) For me, it is the only game in town..:)

Thankyou for sharing of yourself, and welcome.. :)
