Welcome Charles! As you say, the awakening ultimately compels us to
meet life head-on, without resistance, so in that sense everything we
do, consciously or unconsciously, is enhanced. Thinking about
"practical" things made me laugh, though. I have lost all ambition and
have no desire to make money or reputation (walked away from a 25 yr.
private practice), spend hours on end staring into space, and seem to
hold a receptivity toward life ("well, let's just see what comes
along") that would have freaked out the "old" me. I am not tied down
very tight and could move next week if necessary, sometimes, I think,
even off the face of the earth. Yet I've never been more sane,
practical and HERE.
