Hi!
I recently subscribed to this list. I'm just wondering;
what exactly are you discussing?? What is this Avatar (aviation flyer) thing??
I thought this was about Kundalini (But I'm not sure what that is either...well...maybe I'll find out if I keep
reading all your letters...)

HI Magnus,
You just tuned in at a bad time. A man recently joined who calls himself Avatar...a number of people took exception to his use of such a
powerful title, and the melee ensued.
If you have a question about kundalini, send it along, it's high time we got back on track.
Welcome, and don't give up on this list too soon, the full moon is about
over! ;-)

Right. Even a yoga of hate exists, as hating the divine produces the same results as loving the divine. In classical yoga, three qualities are
mentioned: purity, passion and ignorance (here it equals apathy). "The quality of ignorance is superseded by the quality of passion, the quality of
passion by that of purity, the quality of purity attained, it is difficult to renounce it. It gives a more unmixed pleasure than the other qualities,
but creates more attachment. You can rise above ignorance and passion with the help of purity."

Well, I joined this list a little while ago and made a few posts about
Spirit, Kundalini and Chakras (which I bet got lost in the ensuing fray). Some folks noticed that I sign my letters with the title *Avatar* before my
name.
One person indirectly and politely asked me what it meant. I revealed that to me each one of us is an Avatar (each one of us is an incarnation of
Spirit).
Several other people chose to conclude that rather than being inclusive, I was really just being exclusively Egotistic and suffering from a
superiority complex (regardless of my inclusive definition and my lack of exclusive behavior via my letters).
A series of attacks began where some folks began insisting what I was and
what I was not. I simply and consistently affirmed what I positively, actually am in comparison to what they wanted me to think I was. Some
folks even took exception to my unique use of language.
And some remarkable folks saw through the accusations of Egomania and realized all along that all the condemnations (both blatant and subtle)
were just a smoke screen.
Some of those who dislike my writing style, have stopped reading. Some of those who are continuing to insist that I am Egotistic are still making
accusations and misrepresenting my actual position.
I would like to get back to the topic of Kundalini.

Message-Id: Hi Magnus,
Kundalini is a natural part of spiritual awakening. I personally think that setting out to awaken kundalini is akin to
setting out to have an orgasm... and ignoring how one arrives.
The spiritual path one is on is the focus... To my way of thinking, kundalini is simply the evolutionary energy
which arises as a spiritual path of consciousness is followed.
I'm sure you will get as many answers as there are people. What is important is not there are so many answers, but that you
have the opportunity to develop your discernment to find what works for you.

Hi Magnus, By awakening the kundalini one becomes able to use one's whole
potential. One understands this universe and god then. One then loves evryone. Not all the processes which give pain lead to
something bad. When the woman gives birth to child she suffers frm pain. One has to be cautious while awakening Kundalini.

Dear List Members,
Has anyone ever thought about s/he is writing? We have a gentleman who signs his letters in a manner that some do not either understand or like.
May I ask all of you one question? Why?
Whatever one chooses to call him or herself is irrelevant - however one chooses to sign their name should not concern us - being an Avatar is not
something new - been around a long time. In fact, there is even a school that teaches one to be an Avatar. So if the name was bestowed upon him - so
be it! If I chose to call myself "The Enlightened One" (which I am not) and signed my mail thus, why would any of you dispute my word on it, and
furthermore, why would you want to?
We are all God's little sparks, so why don't we act like it? Since we are all one, why are we separating ourselves in this manner? This is a share
list, sharing experiences, asking questions about K and how to cope with the problems that may arise out of an awakened Kundalini... Let us get back
to that! And for those of you have forgotten why this list exists and who really want to fire up the old K see Sharon's new fractal.
So people - let it go! Enough already. Instead, let us try to listen to
what he has to say, there may be gold in them thar hills...
I will be unsubscribing - leaving for a conference in Peru on "Recovering Lost Wisdom". I wish you all could join me. Always something new to learn.

Hi Everyone, I just remembered after seeing all those mails on AVATAR
that the state of AVATAR is related to KUNDALINI. I read it in a magazine sometime back. After all chakras
have been awakened the kundalini shakti is made to sit in anyone of the Seven Major Chakras. The person in whom
this Kundalini reaches back to MULADHAR CHAKRA. That person is in that state of AVATAR. He lives the very

Having somewhat lost myself last night in my atunement message, I had a strange dream which might be a kundalini thing.
Basically it was nighttime and I was in my house and in the distance
there were forks of lightening. Zap. Zap. Again and again, very quickly in succession. They were getting closer, and they were seeming
to follow a straight line directly heading for the house. They zapped real close, through the house. The house wasn't destroyed but I was
running for my life. I went downstairs. Zaps about a metre apart struck accross the bottom of the stairs. I danced in amongst the first
wave but then another wave came. I judged avoidance of the first zap correctly, but then I leap, and it struck me. I ceased to exist then.

Very interesting the use of "I Am" in this way.
Is there also a "This Is" which would describe something (maybe everything) beyond the "I Am" aspect of the universe?
My thoughts are:
"I Am", currently identified with the body named Tom Patterson. "This Is" the Devine Mother created, time bound universe.
"Thou Art" great mystery "life", beyond the senses, existing in the eternal now.

Avatar Thyer,
Maybe it would be helpful to the folks if you told us a story of how your avatarness works in your daily life. Mystress, for example, has told us
stories which have helped me to understand how her goddessness works. She has told us stories of power breaths and rituals and games she plays with
her slaves, as well as exorcising Titanic ghosts, etc.
Lobster has told us stories of his attempts to train his reluctant guru.
Others on this list have told stories too, which have helped me to get to know them and where they are coming from better than simple statements
would have. Simple statements may be more clear and concise in their intent, but some of us need stories to assist us in "experiencing" another
human's essence. I have even told some of my stories, for what they are worth.
Just a suggestion, but I sense that this could break the deadlock we seem
to be in at the moment.
Best Wishes, amckeon
P.S. I haven't read ALL the mail yet, so if you've told us a story already,
I apologize :) Date: Thu, 11 Jun 1998 16:20:42 EDT

The danger here is that we get back into semantic wrangling once again!
However, the ancients used to proclaim "Thou Art That". THAT being all that is, the supreme, the Unity. It cannot be described other than as THAT as any
other words would limit it. This is one of the famous 'mahavakyas' of the Upanishads that affirm our individual identity with spirit.
The phrase I AM can be understood at various levels depending on how you
identify with it.
