I think that most of the jokes are the things which project
someone's foolishness and there is no point in laughing at
someone's foolishness and atleast the person on the path
of Kundalini awakening won't do that.
Can you tell me why should I laugh and what will make me
laugh when people out there are suffering.
One should be happy, Happy so that your happiness encourages
others, feel happy to solve the problem of others and put a
smile on your face when you see a smile on their face.

Hi All,
It's been my observation that apart from an interest in kundalini, list
members have broad interests in occultism, spiritual theories and so on. As a
child I lived in Africa, and met a genuine witch doctor (i.e. one there not just
because of tourists). What would interest me is any info on correspondences
between Indo-European and African spirituality and the esoteric or occult. Can
anyone shed light on the subject?

Hi Steve -- your story is very like mine. Are you going to publish
your dissertation? My awakening occurred the evening after a therapy
session where I was the therapized, not the therapist. It has occurred
to me recently that being a therapist for 20-some years created a
helluva witness state in me which might have contributed to the
"spontaneous" k-eruption. I had not been a devoted meditator. Now I
meditate, pray, dance, do yoga -- the whole shebang. Welcome, Holly

A false happiness encourages nothing and no one is happy all the time. Can you
not laugh at yourself? Can you not let others see you in the truth of the moment
if perhaps you are feeling less than cheerful because that is not how you want to
be seen? And to solve someone else's problem merely serves to contribute to their
own sense of inadequacy. Standing by open heartedly and listening without opinion
is all that is required, they can do the rest for themselves. We are here to
become one, not to do for each other. I for one have had far too much done for me
that has required much healing on my part to undo, to find the real truth of me!
