The number 7 has always been special to me. When I was first learning
my numbers around the age of 6, something about the number 7 thrilled
me...and it still does. There is a beauty to that number that is beyond
words. The only thing that thrills me more than 7 is this: 7x7=49.

I've always felt a certain antipathy toward 8. I have always wondered
why.

Does anyone have a theory? (I have noticed the number 7 pops up often
in spiritual reading.)

Blessings,

Orea

Jen,
To sleep at night I have to drink a cup of red wine right before bed.
Otherwise I'll be trormented by vivid dreams and wake up in the early
morning.

The nasty strong energy flow I calm down a little by a combination of
meditation, and Tai Chi. I've found that physical contact with
another person helps a lot too. Sex seems to be a steam release, but
then again I don't know if that applies to women.

Good luck,

I think you'll find you could also get a signal for other answers, such as
"Maybe" and "I don't know." Ask about it, or try it any way that seems
best. One finger for "Yes," one finger for "No," one finger for "Maybe,"
and one finger for "I don't know." Or right hand = Yes, left hand = No,
right elbow = Maybe, left elbow = I don't know. Whatever works.

You may think you wouldn't need a signal for "I don't know." But it
depends on what level you're communicating with. If you're talking to the
body/subconscious - asking a question about health, supplements, etc., for
instance - you might find that the body/subconscious doesn't know an answer
to something. And you wouldn't want to ask that level what you SHOULD do
about something - that isn't its thing, its field, though it might give you
some answer just because you ask. It's a good idea to know who/ what level
you're talking to.

Recently I've been noticing some new uses of ear noise. When I'm
meditating and I get pretty high and far out, I depend on Shakti to let me
know and/or pull me back when I've done that long enough and it's time to
stop. The other night, I was way out there, when there was a short tone in
my right ear, on about A above middle C. Somehow it was so mundane, so
normal, that it did the trick and I opened my eyes. I asked if that was
the reason for the tone, and the answer was Yes.

Hi Eve!

Do not stop your medication! Whenever you do stop it, you should do it
only with your doctor's permission and on his schedule.

The Hatha Yoga sounds very good. Physical exercise causes a release of
endorphins and can help you feel a lot better. And it may help your back.

Also, the practice of Hatha Yoga by itself may be enough to activate your
Kundalini.

You may find that your Hatha Yoga teacher knows a lot about Kundalini and
will be a very good teacher.

For now, why don't you concentrate on the Hatha Yoga? It isn't a very safe
thing to try to raise K. if it hasn't started spontaneously and if you
don't have a teacher. And doing that AND the Hatha Yoga might be a lot to
take on all at once.

But if you work on your Hatha Yoga you may feel much better, and you may be
surprised to find K. starting up all by itself! Talk to your Hatha Yoga
teacher about it.

Love,
Ann

Dear Riders of the Sacred Sine Wave:

The following is an excerpt from a article by Karin Hannigan entitled,
"Kundalini & the Awakening of the Spirit".

"YOGIC PHENOMENA - Some people find themselves performing yogic postures
or mudra gestures which theyu have never learned or could not do in a
normal state of consciousness. Similarly, they may produce Sanskrit
words or sounds, or have an awareness of inner musisc or sound, mantras
or tones. Unusual breathing patterns may appear with either very rapid
or slow shallow breathing., Some people may not breathe at all for
extended periods."

The above paragraph relates to phenomena that I am very familiar with.
If you have experienced anything like what is mentioned in Karin's
article, I would very much appreciate hearing from you. I believe we
could be of assistance to each other's spiritual growth. Who knows?
We might even be related!

Most Sincerely,

Mark S. Waind

Dear Fellow Seekers:

I am in need of some guidance.

Presently, my third eye chakra in my forehead is opening. I am
experiencing a great deal of discomfort with my eyes. The same burning
numbness that I experienced in my chest and throat when they opened,
is now in my eyes. The discomfort is almost unbearable. My eyes feel
like they are made of wood. My left eye is swollen almost shut! I
believe this is negative energy surfacing and leaving never to return.

As all this is happening my forehead feels as if it is glowing. Are
any suggestions as to what I could do to relieve the discomfort? I
realize I just have to ride this out regardless. I feel that this is
my Shamacic initiatory sickness; that my eyes are dying and are to be
reborn anew with new vitality, purpose and abilities.

Thanks for letting me sound off.

Most sincerely,

Mark

Freda
You aren't crazy. That is what I call synchronicity. It's like orchestra
music and all the instruments, rhythms, sounds all fit together for a
beautiful piece of art work in motion.

Mary
Resonance is a very good word. I have often wondered if the tones work
like sonar works for the whales. Maybe that is why whales beached
themselves on the shores, because their sonar gets out of wack. And I also
have a question: Does radar have a sound that it vibrates to?

Linda
I'm left hand, but I don't know if that makes any difference. It's a
rather recent thing that has started, but I always look at the clock too.
Again the numerology thing. Sometimes it's loud, sometimes soft, so I am
not sure just yet if it there is a correlation between the strength of the
sound and which ear it's in. I have just begun to notice the environment
inside and outside to see if anything catches my attention and then go from
there. Intuit mostly. I have not figured if there are positive or
negative qualities to the ringing sounds, they seem equal at this point. I
have just recently started cataloging the sounds to the ears and the
messages I get, so that I can see for myself if there is in fact a type of
code that goes along with it.

It is a curiosity to me, so I am waiting to see the results. I will let
you know what I find out.

Love and light,
Sherry

I find the recent dialogue on "don't care" very relevant to my current
experience of Kundalini, which began spontaneously about 13 months ago.

This is my current philosophy (it is rapidly evolving to try and keep up
with my experiences)on Kundalini and integrating it into my life.

To me, "don't care" means "Trust without Resisting and Allow without
Trying"

If we don't trust, and resist, we disconnect with the experience and the
confusion associated with these new experiences leading to unresolved
issues and no integration.
If we try too hard and push, we replace our awareness with hope and
effort.

In either case we lose touch with the IS/God/Goddess/etc.

If we don't care, and trust it, don't push it, but are aware and
accepting of it, and open ourselves to reexamining our current way of
looking at life, love, work, relationships, joy, sadness, fear etc.,
then we let K/the IS/God/Whatever shape our lives, and manifest it on a
physical, emotional, and character level, and are then able to share it
with others.

My highest experiences with K are those involving little effort where I
truly don't care what happens next. No brake, no accelerator.

Gloria Lee here..This just popped into my email from elsewhere..try to
look at the "don't care" this way.. for another perspective..sometimes
we just get too caught up in the "efforting" of our search and presume
that it is all up to us to discover the way ..and then when you stop
trying so hard ...you are free to notice what is always there??? As in
the journey IS the destination..so the less attention you pay to what
you THINK is supposed to be the desired outcome..the more free you are
to just allow spontaneous awareness and see you are already in the Tao..
the Tao has you. (Harsha could explain this much better, but he knows
better than to try..)
