Not according to Albert Binet (Stanford-Binet IQ test) who did have academic credentials, and not according to any respected researcher since Binet to my knowledge. The common thought that geniuses are delicate was debunked many years ago. The high IQ child is more robust, taller, and more coordinated than lesser endowed individuals. Further he/she is usually very adept at social skills.

Why is it not healthy for you? Is this person married? Are you married? I guess I also don't know what you mean by "validate." You
could probably tell us more, while changing a few details, so as not to violate someone else's confidences, etc.

All these labels we use can be confusing. Perhaps the phrase "twin flame" and "soulmate" are synonymous for most but not for me.
I don't want to bore the list by repeating my story, so the short
version is:
During the last week of October I experienced what I now know to be a spontaneous awakening. At the same time through multiple synchronistic
events and "empathic awareness" for lack of a better word, I came to realize the identity of a "twin" that has been with me since I was 6
years old.
This experience had such a profound effect on my physical as well as spiritual self that I decided, after much soul-searching, to write
about it. So much so, that today is my last day of work. I quit my job to devote myself to writing full time.
While researching the various phenomena that manifest during
awakening, I had the pleasure of sharing stories with others all over the world. During this time I have not come across anyone who
discovered their "twin" as I perceive the term to mean. Almost without exception there has been a romantic element involved, a "soulmate", if
you will.
You see, I beleive this woman is actually my "twin" in the sense of identical birth twins, brother-sister, ying-yang or positive-negative
if you like. Born at different times to different birth parents. Two entities or halfs of a complete soul.
As far as soulmate goes, I have been with my "soulmate", in the true
sense of the word, since I was 12 years old. We have been married for close to 29 years and we are closer than ever. My twin is married, has
2 children and another on the way.
To answer your question about "validation" and "dangerous". While I am able to document a few "pre-cognitive" events, I cannot validate most
of the impressions and empathic signals I receive from this woman. We live on opposite coasts of the U.S., have never met and up until that
day in October, while I knew there was "someone" there, I didn't know her identity. Does this woman have any inkling of what's going on ? Is
she in the same state as I was, knowing that there's someone but not who it is ? Or, is she completely oblivious to the fact that she is
broadcasting all these emotions ?
Human curiosity being what it is, I would dearly like to have some answers. Funny thing, several weeks ago after relating my story to
members of this list, several made suggestions on how to go about validating this experience. One suggestion was to find an awakened
person who lived close by this woman and ask that they relate this story in a straightforward manner to her. About ten days ago, writing
to another list member, on a completely different subject, I found that they live within a stones throw of this woman. Very
synchronistic, but not the way to go, I think.
By "dangerous" I mean, after going through an obsessive period, then just hurting with the need to know, I've had come to accept the whole
thing and I am enjoying all the freedom of spirit and insight that comes with awakening. But, because of the strong emotional attachment
to this woman and the fact that her loss of spirit and depression, her reconciliation to an unsatisfying life and the mistakes she will make
because of these emotions, well............. I can't seem to get beyond this.
I find myself waiting, saying in my mind, " don't worry, this will all
take care of itself eventually." Then along comes an overwhelming, empathic broadcast of despair from this woman and I'm right back to
where I started. At one point I thought all of this was my own sub-conscience trying to tell me something. But after speaking with
several professionals and being tested, others with similar experiences and documenting several cognitive episodes I am unable to
come up with a solution to end this emotional roller-coaster.
Maybe I should have sent her a Christmas Card with a message asking her to "turn the volume down". : )>

we choose to believe.

To everyone ,
I aroused my kundalini unintentionally three months ago , after holding prayer sessions.As soon as I found out about kundalini , I ceased all prayer and visualisations but have had strange tingling sensations all over my head ever since , and lately all over my body.Last night , I became extremely tired,after a long day's work, and became very stressed.As I went to sleep , large amounts of tinglings began taking place and I felt tense in my stomach.I eventually got off to sleep.What exactly is happening here ?I don't know much about kundalini and wish to slow the whole process down.I am only eighteen and don't know anything about chakrawork or meditation or the other things you talk about and would be grateful for any advice anyone can give me. Hi, I'm also having a problem with my email
I used to get all my Kundalini email recieved with Kundalini-l in the from catagory, but now, for some reason unknown to me, it comes up with the
individual sender's name
Although this is nice because you know on a glance who sent it to you, you don't necessarily know that it's from the K list
I get alot of junk email and personnel email along with the K email, and have
a terrible time sorting out what's junk, what's to everyone on the K list, what's personnally to me from someone on the K list, and email thats personnel
from someone off the K list. (whew, that was a mouthfull!)
Maybe I need a class on AOL setup 101, or a class on mail list folders, but I need some help fast! I've just gotten a new job ( :) ), and the time I can
spend is far less, I need a faster way to tell what's important that I need to read, verses what I'd like to read if I've got the time, verses junk that I'd
rather toss without reading.

Been there, done that. Still recuperating from examining my own pain and despair. I don't want someone else's right now.
This experience was a major assault on my belief system and what

This story is about Sayonara, who was raised on a bottle, and so sees people as 'thou', rather than 'other'.
John and I were walking uphill through the calf pasture to go take a gander at that dam that's washing out just north of our fence line. The two calves
were cavorting around us: high tailed bucks and kicks and gallops. Suddenly, Sayonara ran around ahead of us, ducked behind a thin spray of Scotch broom,
and froze, ears forward. John and I stared at him, then at each other as we realized what the calf was doing. He thought he was hidden, and was peeking
out at us from the safety of a screen of maybe twelve broom twigs. *smile*
Last night, I realized that this is how we are with each other and with God. We're drawn to knowing each other. We're drawn to knowing *----*. But we get shy
and hide behind things that don't really hide us at all, most of the time. Careful masks, patterned behaviors,learned processes, our hands... We are
all so loved and loveable and so unsure of the love that is there around us.

Haven't read it but I will. I don't know whether it applies to my life. I had a few symptoms of kundalini in my mid-thirties - not sure what year, if
that's mid-life. But the major kundalini process that I'm into now began in Sept. 1996, just before my 60th birthday, and went into full gear about
the next July 1. A little late to be called mid-life, don't you think? Of course, if you include k. rising without outward symptoms, then who knows?
I would say it must have rising in my twenties.

I think she's talking about the Uranus cycle - the square, opposition, and square of Uranus to its natal place, and the opposition would be the
mid-life point. That happened later than my early brush with K. However, I'm amazed to find that at 60 I did have Uranus square natal Uranus, and
last July it was exact.
But it also seems important to me that Pluto has been transitting the bottom of my chart in recent years and in Feb.'96 came within orb of
conjunction with natal Venus, ruler of the 2d house (prana). In Sept. it had backed away, but the next June-July it was close again.

Well, I did have some hot flashes in my late 20s, but I just thought it was an early symptom of an early menopause, which runs in my family.

Gloria: Sounds like you have a little stirring up of that prana, just flow with
it and continue to use your prayer to ground your focus on God's Will for you.

These experiences are still rare but when it does began know that kundalini is consciousness, she knows what to do and your job is really
