Thank you for forwarding this, Ruth. I for one would like to see more posts
like this. Practical exercises like this are much more helpful than the
abstract intellectualizing I see so much of here.

Dieter! You actually have a sense of humor! Congratulations on renting one :)
But seriously, folks. "Quack" may actually work for some people, and I
admire Daffy for his spontaneity and honest expression of his feelings.
Elmer Fudd, on the other hand, is in serious need of psychotherapy, Bugs is
a bit of a self-satisfied smartass, and poor Porky really needs to learn
detachment.

Ain't that the truth! Maybe if we open our ears enough to hear that laugh
track we will be better able to laugh at ourselves.

A maxim I try to live by, most everyone I know agrees that I am the oddest

Something I have a hard time remembering! I spend so much time looking for
the "key," that I don't know what I'll do when I get the door open!

Very funnny, on several levels.

I became ambidextrous for about three weeks during the height of the k
"manifestations", but now I am back to being right-handed. I do "mouse"
with my left hand, though, in order to guard against carpal tunnel in my
right wrist. I do use both sides of my brain, being both logical and
creative, etc. Took a test once (think it was in "Omni" magazine) that said
my brain was pretty integrated. My body is not though, I am quite
uncoordinated and graceless, so go figure.

Thanks for sharing. I find more in common with people on the list every
day; it is a continual blessing!

What if someone stares into the mirror and then sees ones eyes glow, before
the reflection disappears? Is this the same thing? At the time (many years
ago) I remember worrying that I was some kind of a vampire or something,
despite the fact that I had no interest in sucking anyone's blood. Also
having fears of not being able to die... Not seeing a reflection might have
the same effect on a person, given our cultural upbringing. Good to know it
can be a manifestation of K, huh?

This is the part I remember when I awoke:
I was at some kind of "retreat" in the mountains with an Asian woman. She
gave me a gift of a bow made of light colored jade. I realized that her
giving me the gift meant she was leaving. I had the sense that I hadn't
felt close to this person, but her leaving made me very sad just the same.
I started to cry. Then I said "Wait! I have a gift for you, too." I turned
to look among my disorganized things, and that's when I woke up.

Hi List. REading the notes about the visits to psychics leaving Freda(?)
with intense sadness and almost suicidal tendencies reminds me of
something I experienced from someone I call a "psychic vampire." This
person would use every one of my unclaimed will avenues to control me. He
would come over my house and when he left after only an hour or so, I
would have to sleep for 3 hours to recover. I knew he was evil, but he
always talked me into letting him come again...it was mind control at its
worst. I tried everything in the world to keep him away.. including
putting a dragon by the phone to remember he was this when I spoke to him
so I would not be lulled into agreeing to anything I did not entirely want
from my own will.
In 1995 I went to a conference of the International Transpersonal Assoc.
in Santa Clara (was anyone there besides me?) and met a lady who was a
Tibetan monk.. (she was actually born in Britian) and she gave a technique
called "The hungry ghosts" to me and I used it on him and it cleared it
all up instantly in 10 minutes. I had to visualize him an ask "What do
you want?" Then listen fo the answer... and bevery clear about it. Then I
had to find in myself the source of all this XX that he needed.. in this
case my beauty.. and send as much as I could into him. After only a few
minutes of this, he was full. He stopped bothering since then.. and I
have not been bothered since!
More later.. on this one...Ruth

OK if you have arrived and have nowhere to go (all is One, All is Perfect, all is
Goddess) there is nowhere to go. However the words are not the experience. There is
indeed a greater Actor and also our little act. Flowing moment to moment is allowing
this Actor precedence . . .

Thanks for the posts - a clear objective description of an experience that I'd still struggle to express clearly. I tend to be really dumb with the vocabulary and wider perspective, having taken the
For me, after a few unmistakable experiences, it rose thro the solar plexus and heart to the throat and there seemed to stay for hours and hours until, exhausted, I felt the need to stop. Since then - ten years? - my life has transformed and I am very involved with people and service. Until recently I've been drawn to work, not direct spiritual practice. I get the odd flickerings in my forehead, feelings of pressure and strange static sensations roving around my head area, the odd pulse at the base of the spine, but nothing more overt.
This list has been a great companion for me in recent months. And, at last, I have a question. Can you set me straight....
*Questions*: What is the significance of the throat blockage that was / maybe still is? Although it's not so dramatic and pronounced, it's still working away within me, no?

This is not the end: it is not even the beginning of the end. It is perhaps the end of the beginning.

Amckeon! The rudra knot is also called the rudra granthi in the Tantras.
When Kundalini is aroused and leaves the base chakra it closes that chakra and
proceeds on to the sex chakra which opens. This process of closing the chakra
and opening the next chakra goes on as it moves upwards through the spinal
central column. At the solar plexus chakra (the third chakra from the base),
the Kundalini pierces the Brahma-Knot, towards its movement further up towards
the heart chakra, where it pierces the Vishnu-Knot.
The knot at the center of the third eye, or the center of Christ Consciousness,
The third eye of Shiva, is the Rudra Knot. On piercing this knot the Kunadalini
seeks communion with the brain which is the Thousand petalled lotus or
Sahasrara.
Hope this makes it a bit clear for you to understand.

Just in case there is anyone on the list going to the kundalini
conference I will be going on Saturday and until Sunday afternoon which
is this weekend. I know several people who are presenting who have
invited me to meet with them but otherwise would be happy to meet with
anyone from the list. Just write me and let me know. Gloria

In this case, discontinue activities that excite kundalini. Above
all else, get your sleep. Staying awake too long and reaching a second
wind will complicate the negative effects of an awakening. If psychotic
symptoms get too strong, relax as much as you can, and focus on the
reality that surrounds you: put your attention on what you see and hear.
If you become frightened or upset, watch your breathing and heart rate.
Instead of catching your breath and getting excited by unnecessary fear,
relax a part of your mind, put yourself into that part and calmly watch
the rest of you reacting to your internal and external environment until
the fear passes. If your trouble lasts more than a few minutes, talk to a
good friend. I've found being with someone who loves me to be very
grounding. Don't be embarrassed to share with your friend even the
unreasonable things that bother you. Let him or her help you see truth.
For your back pain, avoid stress as much as possible. Relax.
Accept yourself as your are now and don't be too demanding about changes
you expect within yourself. Slow and gentle change may well help you
progress faster than fast, painful, three-steps-forward-two-steps-back
change. Don't overextend yourself. Stick to the basics in your life.
Focus on one cause of stress in your life and work on it until it is
reduced. Don't discourage yourself by trying to get rid of every
stressful thing in your life at once.

I dislike all psychological drugs because of their vast array of
nasty side effects. A low dose might be ok on a short time basis, but I'd
suggest life changes in the long term.
I have been having more back pain recently myself. I'll see what
I can do for myself before I make any more recommendations to you.

Is anyone else going to the Kundalini Research Network Conference at Mt.
Madonna this week? If you are, please let me know.

Thanks,
Peg
