Tom,

I am looking forward to seeing your face at my screen. Not only you have
a great talent for yogic themes, but you have also a great sense of
humor, I laughed a lot with your letter....

HI Dor,
I bought the book on Kundalini that you recommend, I haven't read it
yet, I will send you my feedback when I do read it. I am reading also,
Kundalini Experience by Lee Sanella and it is very good. One that I read
was Kundalini, Empowering Human Evolution bu Gene Kieffer and it was
wonderful, I highly recommend it. Every book that I find with Kundalini
on the title I buy it, my husband thinks I'm nuts.

Love to you,
Lissette

I use masturbation for sex magic. The down side is that it channels all
of your sexual energy into whatever you are creating, so you don't feel
much desire until you "reformat" by changing your focus.
Many people masturbate using unhealthy pictures. They climax to
pictures of being "fucked", then wonder why they had that car accident
or the boss used and manipulated them.
Whatever you focus on during masturbation and climax you are using the
creative energies of the second chakra to manifest. Focus on love, love
manifests. Focus on properity- presto!
Works for me.

Does anyone on the list have a copy of this exercise? I posted it to the
list several months ago, it's the one where you "blow" out each chakra.
The book is not on my shelf, I must have lent out my copy (another one
gone, when will I ever learn?) So I can't give you the information.
I don't have a personal master anymore. I was raised in a magical
tradition and was an "apprentice" to my Great-Aunt. She called, I ran to
her side no matter what I was doing. I'll miss her, but after 20 years
of the "Iron Fist in the Velvet Glove" I don't believe I'll ever take
another master or mistress.

Dear Sirs/Ms:

I would like to ask about Kundalini. I am in Indonesia. There is very
little source of information, teaching, etc. on Kundalini. So, I des-
perately need help!.

I did some simple meditation few years ago. After doing for some weeks,
I felt something hot in my spine. After few days it got very hot, so that
I felt and heard noises like porridge broiling at the bottom of my spine.
It felt like it tried to break through something. It did. I stopped,
because everybody who I knew said that there must be something wrong with
my meditation.

Last year, I started joining some pranic healing seminars. I did "TWIN
HEART MEDITATION" several times. The heat got back in my spine. It felt
like there is a snake running up and down in spine. I was like having
terrible cold and my head like expanding and breaking. Someone told me
that it had something to do with Kundalini. I looked around for information,
but I found only one book in Indonesia. I tried to read the book, but
it was so complicated, since I know very little about inner study. So,
I stop.

Last month, I joined another pranic healing related seminar. At the time
I did the meditation, I felt that the energy in my spine was back and
stucked aroud the neck area. It tried to push up, and made a lot of
small cracking noises around my neck and skull. It was also painfull.

Is it really Kundalini?. Is it the energy outside the layer, or is it
some layer of Kundalini?.

What should I do. I just started looking on Kundalini matter on internet
starting around 2 days ago. I ordered some books. However, I think that
I will receive it around 2-3 months later. Would someone be kind to help
me on anything, such as more information, etc.etc.

I don't know if this information should be necessary. But, last year I
FELT that I could see aura, bones?, etc??. I am not sure. But, it was
not clear and last for about one month. I am not so sure if it is Kundalini
because I don't feel any difference, except that I get sick about everyday.
Most of the time I feel as I have cold, weak, stress, etc.

I would be very appriciate to hear soon!

Best regards.

The energy cranked up with my move to D.C., but I've been particularly
symptomatic in the past few days: migraine, chills, sporadic paranoia
and irritability, hearing buzzing and humming, et cetera. Yesterday
morning I noticed that the nail of my right big toe had turned black.
I can feel myself changing but this wasn't a change I had in mind.
Anybody have experience with this? Love, Holly

Tom,
I remember the contronversy on enlightenment a while back.
What in the eastern terms is this state of being. The dictionary
says it is to give the light of fact and knowledge to; reveal truths
to; free from ignorance, prejudice, or superstition. Is this the
same thing?

   Humble?
   Lobster?

You've got to be kidding Joe. I thought as a farmer you
could spot a sacred cow pie at twenty paces!

While artfully dodging compliments, Lobster has been subtly
flogging his books, his website, his course, his web business,
 not to mention his opinions.

A clever salesman yes. Living in Scotland perhaps?

(Didn't those people of the Occupied Territory of Scotland just
manage some recognition from the new PM? Next thing you know
Robbie Burns Day will be more popular than Lent! Is vegetarian
 haggis far behind?)

So pass the humble cowpie, Joe, what you've come to recognize in
Lobster (at the risk of stating the obvious), is more true in
yourself, despite your claim of religious impedance.

ed. burned at the stake, accused of tongue in cheek not in check.

if i knew the answer to this kind of question i would be enlightened
which would probably mean i wouldn't answer at all......

in practice though, i certainly know what enlightenment isn't !!!

my rough and ready view is that one should adopt the testing criteria of

NO ENLIGHTENMENT

where there is hatred, anger or prejudice and intolerance and exclusive
belief systems it is unlikely that there is enlightenment

where someone wants something from you in return for what they're
giving, then there's no enlightenment

where love and acceptance are conditional upon you obeying someone's ego
there is no enlightenment

where there is no humour but only rules and rituals there is no
enlightenment
>
where there is judgement and alienation there is no enlightenment

where no one listens there is no enlightenment

where people look but do not truly see there is no enlightenment

when someone talks only to themselves there is no enlightenemnt

where someone is determined to fix you even if you don't want to be
fixed there is no enlightenment

and if someone cannot handle awkward questions like yours,

well......

there is unlikely to be enlightenment....
>
in general, i prefer wisdom to the term enlightenment, as this is
something much easier to recognise and something there's a big shortage
of, and which we can talk about and develop within our own lives little
by little with no sense of something fixed like enlightenment....

with wisdom we can all have our moments in the sun....

i'm not even sure we're ready for enlightenment yet, maybe if we can
learn how to stop destroying and poisoning the environment, waging and
preparing for wars, killing off species of plants and animals,
exploiting our fellow humanity...

then we might become able to recognise enlightened beings too and
realise that this lofty state was much closer than we imagined....

and suddenly see that well, maybe the buddha was with us all along.....

and that without the whole following, individual enlightenment means
very little...

so, ummm. who knows what enlightenment is.....but i sure as hell know
what it ain't !

any help ?

> Anybody have experience with this? Love, HollyYes, unfortunately, I have had experience with this. The big toe nail
turning black (usually on the right foot) is a very common occurrence
with Kundalini awakening. In addition to experiencing it myself, I have
read and heard about it often. Don't be surprised if your toe nail
actually comes off (Don't worry, it will grow back). Christina Grof lost
hers two or three times. If you're not aware of who she is, look for
books entitled "The Stormy Search For The Self" or "Spiritual
Emergency". The first title she co-wrote with her husband, Stansilov,
and the second is a compilation of writings on all different forms of
Spiritual Emergence (or Emergency) which was edited by them. But, don't
worry, other than temporary pain in the toe (which can be rather severe
at times), there is nothing to worry about concerning this manifestation
or symptom. It shouldn't last long. I've been experiencing continual
(never ceasing) Kundalini symptoms for over 6 years and have never had a
recurrence of this particular symptom. Hope this puts your mind at ease
if you were concerned about it.

If you would like a detailed explanation of what may be occurring (and,
therefore causing this), see pages 121-122 of Bonnie Greenwell's book
entitled "Energies of Transformation: A Guide to the Kundalini Process".
This book is the most helpful resource I have found to date regarding
the Kundalini process. Essentially, what it says is that this
manifestation mirrors an ancient yogic sakti purification practice. It
is also interesting to note that, in the acupressure system, "the big
toe is the source point of the spleen meridian which stores blood and
destroys old blood cells, produces plasma cells which make antibodies,
and is tied to the immunologic system". Hope this helps.

This is well documented in Kundalini literature. Often the nail will
fall off. I've seen one like it with a persistant, painful fungal
infection. Check out blockages around moving forward in life, issues
around Dear Dad, and anger.

Not something estoteric, just a garden-variety typo. Read, "prosperity".
Go ahead and sanitize it if you must (everyone eats thus everyone poops,
and if you can't see yourself as a great big poop once in a while your
mirror could refelect either a very thin person or a retentive one)
