Subject: A Prayer for Winer
Hello All
December 21 is the day of the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere.
The longest night of the year. And although it is the first day of
Winter, The nights will now begin to get shorter and the days longer.
And the coldest days and nights of winter are yet to come.
Winter is the time of long snows. Short days, and very long nights. It
is the time when all hibernating animals have gone deep within their
caves for the long winter sleep.
For Humanity, winter is the time of introspection. A time of going
within. A time to slow down, pull away from the madding crowd, and learn
more about who we are. A time to recognize that we are truly not a
physical body attempting to be spiritual, but rather a Spiritual Being in
the process of creating a perfect physical Universe. Humanity has, for
time immemorial, clung to the tiny glow of the firelight, waiting
fearfully for the first glimmering of the new morn. As we approach the
end of this millenia, which many feel has been a long, dark night for the
soul of humanity, we look forward to the dawn of the new age with hope
and anticipation.According to the Maya Calendar, this is the year 1999.
The Millenia is ending. The new dawn is upon us.
- This year, the winter solstice falls on 9 Manik and will set the tone
for the last quarter of the Maya year (12-21 to 3-21). With Manik, we
will begin to understand how to be ourselves, and yet be in harmony and
cooperation with our community. We will learn how to balance seemingly
contradictory desires. The number 9 (the number of the godhead) helps us
realize that everything is connected. The string of past events has
created what we are today. The number 9 also helps us priortize and work
only on what is really important. From now to the spring equinox we are
going to be called to complete unfinished projects.
The winter solstice is empowered by the energy of the full moon only 3
days later on 12 Oc (12-24-96). The definition of 12 Oc is magnified by
the full moon and is about understanding truth.
In honor of the Winter Solstice, I offer the following Prayer for Winter,
from Walk in Spirit by Lynn Andrews.
O Great Spirit, as we move into a time
Of shorter days and longer nights,
Not unlike the winter of our lives,
We experience the coolness of your brilliance.
Star Shield Mother, who empowers my intent,
Great Spirit, give me courage to face my own frailty.
Give me courage to walk on the path of heart.
And if I have failed you,
Help me to understand how I can better
Tear away the veils of ignorance,
And live more fully in the coming year.
Help me, Great Spirit and Mother Star Shield,
To manifest my act of power,
To provide the mirror for my sisters and brothers
Of integrity and impeccability,
As a warrior of the spirit.
Great Spirit, I am yours in my heart and soul.
As I lie down for the long winter to pray
To more deeply understand my true nature,
And the nature of this Great Mother Earth,
My spirit is like a hollow log filled with your light.
May I never lose touch with what is real and true.
May I touch the snows of winter with my fingertips,
And be reminded of the purity of your being.
May I see the reflection of your face
In all of the beings who surround me.
In my long dream, through the long winter night,
May I receive symbols from you
That will deepen my understanding
And help me to go beyond the limits of language
Into the dreamtime.
I await the imprinting of your knowledge
Into my emptiness.
Help me to understand, Great Spirit
All that I have come here to learn in this lifetime.
As I move into the sacred dreamtime of the winter,
I offer my prayers and gratitutde and love,
Oh Great Spirit, for my life. Ho!

Quite right too. I could not agree less, so I will more than agree.
Of course it was the 99% that I was deriding.
The 1% I would not dare deride as I know nothing of it
- which is a great deal less than most.
As a nudist in winter I can only be glad that rationality has long ago
escaped me . . .

Perhaps the reverse, we are all enlightened but the mind is tricky

My own enlighten master had a presence and an authenticity,
this authenticity meant that he was present, because he was

Yes absolutely. these days all things are my master, my colleges,
my friends, the neighbors cat, my garden. The watcher has the capacity to
learn, those who are asleep cannot learn because they use all
that happens simply reenforces the minds perception that the dream
that is life is real.

Sybil,
Can you move the energy from the fifth chakra, that is where hearing is
located. When you are getting the message it is opening or moving up to
the sixth momentarily but then coming back into the fifth. I would
ground myself by opening up and asking the Holy Spirit to either help
you ride it out or bring the energies back into the heart chakra. This
may be something you just have to move through in which case just tuck
and roll. And, don't put negative energy out, it just sits in your aura
and creates reactions. Afirm it is a blessing and then enjoy it. Gloria

Yes, I agree, I'm enjoying watching the beautiful snow come down. We
have about 5 inches so far and it is just perfect. I am a native Nevadan

Beloved ONES:
First what is going to happen about the 31st December 1996 or better
1999 (according to the MAYA-calendar) is n o question of beliving, but
of knowing.
The scientists from NASA and other places k n o w that the photon-belt
is going to touch Mother Earth at 31st December 1996 (at night?). But
neither the White-House or the Pentagon "knows" how to deal with it.
- It is very simply to "deal" with it, accept, that there will be
energy-black-outs, be in LOVE and HARMONY and have some candles at hand
(oh yes, have some plankets, because it might get colder). So there is
nothing to fear. Mother Earth is shifting to a new consciousenes.
So, donīt speculate, if the photon-belt may come or not. Donīt
discuss "it"; accept it. Be in LOVE, love yourself and everyone
and everything. Peace over all frontiers.

Subject: Off Topic, but has to do with earth changes
On December 21st/22nd, at 12:25am I started to get this great urging
that the earth needed to release her heart chakra. It was anticipation,
pushing, that wouldn't go away, this kept up to about 12:35am. Well, after
this, I thought it was just ego pushing, but at about 12:37am I felt
something wonderful. I felt energy coming up in waves from the floor, and
it felt like divine love. Images came up of nature not anything specific
but just earthen nature and love. I truly believe that the earth released
her heart at during my times of anticipation, and I later felt this energy.
Has anyone else noticed anything different? This is all in CST by the way.
Also, I think this release of earth is facillitating a great release in the
rest of the universe, allowing changes that were before unable to be made.
Mistress I know you channel Gaia, would love to hear from you on this.
