        I have heard that the heart and third eye are closely connected to
each other.  My own experience as far as chakra openings follows this, as
these are the two that cleared up the most first.  But I could see a
relationship to the third and solar plexus as well, each being associated
with mental stuff.  A mental shock is said to be seen in the third eye and
felt in the solar plexus.

        I have heard that lower psychicism manifests with the opening of the
second chakra, and the higher begins to manifest in the heart.  Not sure how

kundalini imagery in an interesting book by E.A.S. Butterworth,
_The Tree at the Navel of the Earth_.  See especially chapter
VIII, but the whole book is fascinating.

Howdey everybody

I've been doing alot of energy work the last 3-4 days or so.  The experiences
have been like milder K awakening, energy going up my spine into my crown and
third eye chakras, also waves of energy, and the feeling like energy is
gushing endlessly out my hands and feet.  

Also a kinda stoned/tripping feeling, like a very pleasant stoning off of
some really good weed where things feel very trippy and your imagination
starts mildly hullucinating.  I may have stumbled on the "flashback at will"
that Mistress spoke of and which I know many of us want (Although I'm sure
Mistress has more "power" than me (why didn't she get this first?))

All of which were very nice and I feel a bit blessed for it.

Also recently I've been reading about the first chakra and how it relates to
your connection with your body.

My question:
	The hightened awarness of energy, is it related to further opening the root
chakra, is it more likely from the K like activity?  Also do very many people
have mild K of this kind, or does it usually "come with a bang".

The majority of the power has now left me, but I'm looking at it like the
"resting period".  I'm fairly sure that mastery over giving myself the
experience is my next step.  How is another adventure.

Aaron -- I've come to feel that the "energy" is always running and what 
varies is my ability to perceive it, which is essentially a capacity to 
be present.  Sometimes I feel it as mild, sometimes as a huge wave.  
When I don't feel it at all, I'm often afraid It is gone, but rarely am 
I without some sensation of it for more than a few days.  There is a 
wonderfully paradoxical relationship between my ability to Be in my

The information I'm going to give you has been complied from the 
workbook " Kundalini Yoga" for Body, Mind and Beyond by Ravi Singh 
and the book "Breath, Mind, and Consciousness" by Harish Johari.
 
The meditation  is my own.  


Chakras

The chakras are fountains of energy which lie along the spine.  Each 
chakra represents an aspect of consciousness, mode of behavior, 
perspective, and is an etheric counterpart to an important nerve 
center or gland. 
 
Your understanding of this system will enable you to assess where you 
are on the path and help others accordingly.   

 The Chakras are rungs on the ladder of light, which rise from the 
mundane to the miraculous, from a fate to a Destiny. I am going to 
talk about 8 Major Chakras, different viewpoints will have more or 
less but the principals are the same.  When our energy is flowing 
freely through all of them we can easily be complete and fulfilled.
 
The first chakra is at the rectum.  Its frequency corresponds to the 
color red, and its quality to the element earth.  This center relates 
to elimination, instinct, survival, habits and represents the realm 
of the ordinary day to day life.   
    
The Second Chakra is a nerve center that relates to the sex organ. 
Its frequency corresponds to the color orange, and its quality is 
that of water.  It is the realm of sensation.   
    
The Third Center corresponds to the Navel Point/Solar Plexus area.  
Its frequency corresponds to saffron-yellow, and its quality is that 
of fire.  It is the seat of power, and is a reservoir for the energy 
of life.   
    
The 4th Center is called the Heart Center.  It lies in the area of 
the sternum.  Its frequency corresponds to the color green and its 
quality to the element air.  It relates to love, expansion , and the 
indefatigable nature of the human spirit.
       
The Fifth Center is the throat center, which relates to the Thyroid 
gland.  Its frequency corresponds to the color light blue and its 
quality to the element either.  Through the Throat Center we give 
substance to idea.  It is the seat of creativity.   
    
The Sixth Center is called the Third Eye or Anja Chakra. Its 
frequency relates to the color indigo.  Its quality is beyond quality.
-  Through the Sixth Center we master our minds and pierce the veil of 
illusion.  Our awareness here is focus itself.  The Third eye 
corresponds to the pituitary gland.  When the Third Eye is in balance,
 we have a meditative mind, the ability to know the Unknown, See the 
Unseen and an understanding of our Disunity.   
    
The 7th Center at the top of the head is called the Thousand Pedaled 
Lotus, or the seat of the soul.  Its relative frequency corresponds 
to the color violet. It relates to the Pineal gland.  When the 7th 
Center is in balance we feel part of the vastness of all that is.

The 8th Center is your aura, and represents the working balance of 
all the centers, our ability to integrate higher conscious into our 
presence and projection. The aura is golden and includes protection.  
  

The belief in Chakras began during the Rig Vedic Period at least 3,
000 BC. Per Hindu Tantric Literature there are also three important 
nerves which are called NADIS in Sanskrit 

.. SUSHUMNA, IDA, PINGALA 
 
These Nadis are directly affected by breathing through the nose. So, 
I'm going to ask you to be very conscious of your breathing.  Breath 
in through your nose and say "Soooo".
As you exhale through your mouth, say "Hammmmm".  SO HAM, I think 
this is related to the SAT NAM and the translation is "truth is my 
identity".  This saying quiets the mind and allows the individual 
consciousness to transcend the body/mind limitations.

MEDITATION

Lets now take a deep breath using your diaphragm.
Focus your mind at the base of your spine on the Earth Charka and 
experience the Red light. 
 
You feel the power of the red light, give thanks to the earth and its 
power. Breath deeply and give thanks to the grounding of the earth 
light.  
-
Breath Deeply again and let your focus rise to the water Chakra just 
below your belly button.  The Red light changes to Orange, and we 
give thanks for our sense of individually and expressive nature and 
our expressive nature.  

Your focus now moves to the Yellow element and you feel the quality 
of fire. You give thanks to the Yellow Fire and its life energy.  
Breath deeply again and feel the power growing within you.  

The power of the three move upward into your Heart the Air Element.  
Feel its smoky green color surround you and know that you have 
entered the realm of the higher consciousness. The unconditional love 
that exists within all of us. 
 

Give thanks to all the Elements and feel your spirit rising in 
harmony to the smoky purple which is the center of our ability to 
know the unknown.  Give thanks to being a part of the vastness of all 
that is.

Reach upward with this feeling uniting with all in this room, 
expanding to the great golden light into the protection and healing 
power of the Divine Order.

	We recognize that all healing is a channeling of the one divine 
wisdom who is 	recognized in many ways and forms as our cultures 
understand individually.  

	I accept happiness in my life and welcome the joy I have come to 
accept as my 	own. Success is my birthright and I welcome it with 
open arms..  

	All things are resolved in accordance with the Divine Order. 

Vibrant pink spirals flow down into all of us 

Peace and Calm reside and we flow softly back to the earth element. 

Our energy circulates back through the elements: Violet, Green, 
Yellow, Orange and Red element earth which have all been changed to 
vibrant pink sparkles  that flow quietly returning us to our 
centering and grounding. 

Vast happiness washes over all of us as we know that which we have 
given is good and has already been received.  Let it be...

Subject: leaving for a while

Dear list members,
	I'm unsubscribing from the list, although I am sure that
I may be back at some point. I have other projects that I need
to concentrate on, and I find myself spending much time reading
the list and responding. So, I'm taking a break.
	I apyoligize if some of my posts have been 'off topic' in
any way; to some degree I am shy about discussing this topic, in
any context, much less a public forum. So, I guess I try to put
out feelers and then I can connect more. Any mention of Shree Kundalini
requires the most subtle care and carefulness, I feel; it is so easy
for a simple one to say something foolish and/or lacking in respect 
when his tongue strays to speaking of the divine. 
	My final word on this matter is...Shree Kundalini is divine, is
all powerful, and whatever manifestations you may be experiencing, 
you are blessed. 
	Thanks everybody for being nice to me; I really love what 
everybody writes, I have a lot of love for all of you. Being on this
list has helped me a lot in my life, helped me to understand myself
more, and I've experienced lots of energy from the list. 
	I have received a wealth of insight from being on the list,
and in the last few months have really learned a lot. Thanks.
