FIuteATNOSPAMprodigy.net http://pages.prodigy.com/flute - 2 Date: Sat, 7 Dec 1996 From: stampmanATNOSPAMix.netcom.com (Daniel Rusch-Fischer ) Subject: Migraine Help!, someone on the list suggested ice placed in the thumb-forefinger crotch of the hand opposite the headache for relieving the pain of migraine. I told Karen about this and she had already taken ergotamine before she remembered to try it. She then got the ice and did the above. Well, she says the pain stopped, BUT the nausea that followed was terrible. By the time I got to her, the nausea had calmed down and she was better. This morning, I got up to find her in her chair with the acupressure headband on and ice being pressed into the hand. I have, through therapeutic touch/pseudo-reiki, been able in the past to relieve the pain and sometime eliminate it entirely; there has never been nausea with it though. When those who do this use the ice, do they also use the medications too? Karen can't use the new one (forget the name) as she is also diabetic. More details about this PLEASE. Thanks, Love and LAUGHING LIGHT, Dan 3 Date: Sat, 7 Dec 1996 From: stampmanATNOSPAMix.netcom.com (Daniel Rusch-Fischer ) Subject: Heart Chakra? Hi guys, I got a call this morning from the mother-in-law in Florida who says that since leaving my place in California, she has had a painful circlular spot directly over her heart - a little to the left of center chest. It hurts on the surface and is uncomfortable to lay on - there is no internal pain with it, but there is a similar spot on her back directly through the body. The spot on the back is far less uncomfortable and she can sleep on it, thought not on her chest. When she was here, I did a 'reading' for her and we opened up some very painful childhood memories - at the time I could feel that they needed to be let out and expressed as I felt it producing a closure at her throat area (chakra?). She told me then that she had a throat problem that she had been to several doctors about and despite numerous tests could find nothing medically wrong. Would appreciate any input from the list on this phenomenon. I feel that she has 'expressed' her suppressed anger for her father, but has issues with her love for him. That sounds too simplistic, but I haven't said it to her yet - awaiting input. Her father, by the way, died over many years slowly of emphysema, cancer, cirrhosis of the liver, etc. Dan 4 Date: Sat, 7 Dec 1996 From: stampmanATNOSPAMix.netcom.com (Daniel Rusch-Fischer ) Subject: Angelique & Border Patrol It is difficult to imagine the diligence with which the INS is defending us from evil from Canada and then watch the evening news and see hoardes of unfortunate Mexicans running down the highway into the U.S. from Mexico. Hi! Have been following this group for awhile with great interest as many experiences related are similar to mine. Have meditated and studied various doctrines but particularly vedanta. Powerful light awakening years ago kept me on this path even while raising kids alone, working, and dealing with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia in recent years. Still the light shines and ironically the illness has allowed more time for "self" study, reading and meditation without being pulled back into the world at former break-neck speed. Someone posted recently and I can't find it now to quote accurately, about the experience of another dimension like a reflection going on. I have been very curious about a similar experience. About three or four times a year for the past few years another waking reality is going on either within or beside me. It seems to be dipping inside mine as I into it. Try as I may, I cannot quite grasp it or enter it, even with meditation, but it seems to be very active. I don't think it is guides, angels or a discarnate being attempting to be channelled, just someone else's consciousness and day-to-day experiences going on. Has anyone else had anything like this? It's quite disconcerting as it's hard to be fully "here" when "there" is pulling on me. It lasts for about three or four days solid, never more. It's nice to feel safe about posting a question like this and knowing that not all who read it will think me "crazy". Peace, Teresa Life, we learn too late, is in the living, the tissue of every day and hour. ... Here's some unasked for advice: One doesn't need to go to Sedona to become invisible. One little lie will grant you your wish, Angelique. Lies are sometimes necessary in every country on planet earth and one or two of them here or there will not impact your karma greatly. The whole thing *is* a game after all, don't you think? Change the rules for yourself today. Just don't forget to forgive yourself aferwards, that's all. Then go back to the old rules y o u made up. Here are my thoughts about getting across the border. First, know that they have rules and regulations to follow, and with slight provocation will pull one out of the hat. Since you have interest in SM it becomes obvious who has the power and who is being dominated. The bureaucrat in charge gets a sense of power out of seeing you dominated--sound familiar. The more that you try to play cute and try to circumscribe their control the more that they will send you on the merry go round with another spanking. Thus, in this legalistic game, give them everything that they want, as soon as possible, including cancelled checks to prove transfer of money to pay for residence. I'd suggest that you get a legal sublease in writing from someone that you know. Next, provide proof of business by your phone number, web site, and signed affidavits from your customers; they could send some by fax or email. Last, armed with all the required paperwork, take an attorney with you to the border to Mr. Bureaucrat. Do not get angry or upset with Mr. Bureaucrat; that just justifies to him how crazy and irrational you are--an undesirable. That is the time to send loving energy! Once the legalistic game is played out, everyone will smile and go on to the next game/lesson in life. Remember! Life is a series of lessons. One has been sent your way. Enjoy the USA, and if near Athens, Ohio we have an extra bed where you could camp a night or so. Weekends are better. It would be great fun. I'd love to see you raise your energy level and disappear. . .for a bit. - Let us know how your BIG CROSSING works out. Don't give up. Keep smiling. I't really nice to know that I am so valued. One of the people who have contacted me is Donna from celestine list. She is a US immigration consultant, and she has recommended the I not antagonize the immigration officials with too many phone calls. I imagine Faxs would be alright, but I am unsure. She does not seem to think a show of public support will help. She is going to call from her office on Monday and see if she can get clarification of the situation. - Her recommended strategy is for me to have an itinerary of events and workshops I am to attend, presumably if I already have a busy schedule, I wouldn't have time to work. So, I am putting out a call for workshops and events to attend, preferably of a spiritually enlightening nature. Plan A was to let Faerie lead my quest, but we shall have to create structure, after all. She has also suggested that they must accept that I am living with lloyd at this time, and will be returing to live here again, for a while in spring and suggested I alter my drivers licence to reflect that fact. I think I will move my telephone account here as well. - I haven't given up yet! Blue K. fire round the border..... Well to go along with the idea that was in the set up message here is a bit about myself and Kundalini. Name: Terry Keith McCombs Age: 41 When did I first start looking into Kundalini: About nine years ago, I had read about it before, but was able to work with others at that time, and I found that helped in geting me to do more then read. What have I noted: Hmmmmm? maybe later. Changed?: I will have to think on that one a bit! What do I hope to get out of this place?: A place where I can talk about this and find people who are open to the ideas and know what the subject is......and hopefully will not look to harshly on how little I know! - 11 Date: Sun, 08 Dec 96 From: terry.mccombsATNOSPAMthe-matrix.com (TERRY MCCOMBS) Subject: Native American's way and kundalini If the kundalini and related subjects are ATNOSPAMreal' then it seems to me that it stands to reason that it would be observed in other cultures, though I would think that they would put their spin on it, but at the core it would still be the real thing. - Such as the Qabalistic Tree of Life, the Loa of the Voudouist, and Tai Chi to name three. But I was thinking about the Indians...no, no! Not the people of India, but Native Americans. Some time back I was able to study with a Native American teacher, and I have read what I can find on the subject and I think that there too much enlightenment can be found. - Though to be sure it has it's own feel and way of being, and I have been told that it is not a good idea to go scattering about from one way to another, but who knows but what path is the right one for you, now or later? But I found the rites of the Native American way that I was introduced to, to be quite powerful, and at least a part of my personal way. The ones that I found closest to the subject at hand was the sweat-lodge and the building of a medicine wheel. I will not go into detail on ether here, but I found the above two very good indeed. But then there are big differences as well, the medicine wheel while a meditation that takes place within, also has a part that is very much a part of the solid world. And in doing so, it leads the mind to think not in stright lines but in circles, BUT IN A GOOD WAY! I deals with the moviment of energe, but never lets you forget the importence of wholeness, and the connectiveness of all things. - I guess all spokes leads to the center of the wheel, but that's just me. What about you others? Do you know any other ATNOSPAMsystems' ways or paths that you think might have something to say that would relate to things kundalini? Should one study different paths, or does that just lead to confusion? And is there anyone else out that works with the Native American way, or other ways that you think would have something to give to the study of kundalini? I thought that the above might be a place to start some talk. ----- 12 Date: Sat, 07 Dec 1996 From: Tim Duna Subject: Re: White Gold Actually, I wasn't part of the group at all, but was e-mailed this document. I am also an ordained minister, a Buddhist, I practice shamanism, use crystals, and do alot of things I can't talk about. My path is many-paths. I seem to need to study/practice from a variety of angles, so as to get more of the whole picture, I guess. Most spiritual teachers recommend to stick to ONE thing. I guess its like telling time; if you have only one watch, you "know" what time it is, but if you have several, and they differ a little from each, you are never sure! --Bob - 14 Date: Sun, 8 Dec 1996 From: Mistress Angelique Serpent Subject: Acid trip energy transfer. The purpose of this internal visionquest is to gain fuller understanding about why the united states immigration finds it so difficult to accept that I am going on vacation. Having spent time communing with powers and beings, I have come to the knowing that the power of the love vibration that I carry is so needed at that dark place the Blaine crossing, and in the Heart of Mr. Bruner the port official, that they dare not let me slip past them. Three times I have gone to do the beaurocrat dance with them, each time more papers and documents that they have said they need. I have given up all my documents, the whole web knows I am on vacation, 1000 visitors to my site every day know it. All of you know it, I go visionquesting, in search of enlightenment. Most people would be oblivious to this, given the level of internal noise and the general state of psychological fragmentation. However, once the noise is calmed, and the aspects of the personality begin to unify under the aegis of the "higher self"/ etc., such activity can certainly become noticable. When this phenomenon reappears, you may want to pay close attention to your dream-life, and see if there might be some connection.
