I first read of it in Evelyn Underwood or Underhill(?) book on Mysticism. An old Classic. Although Several Christian writers have spoken of it. (Mester Eckhart, ST Thomas Aquinas, and more). See local library. About meditation, just relax in anyway, and think only of your breath, follow it in and out for a long time. Thats it! Traveling by plane is not necessarily recommended. Important for October 1996: The preparations for the coming turmoils by the increase in frequency during November 1996 are necessary in form of meditation, turning to the principle of GOD in the all-embracing love. Man should get strength and instructions through the inwards directed meditation/prayer (also refer to the message of 23.09.1996 by Jeremias). This am I looked up the reference to a couple of the recommended yoga pages, in nice, new new-age land, and links being what they are, wound up looking at cult de-programming news that discussed shocking horrible things going on at many new age yoga sites! (It's true...won't name names, here, but there they were, lotsa biggies, all orientations, with written documentaries).....kinda scary. Whoever wants to look up an organization can probably get this info by lookng up cults or cults and deprogramming under alta vista. (I really stumbled onto it by accident.) Even the Natural Party is really backed by the TM group. Don't remember if they were listed on the "bad cult" list, specifically, but the point is, what is there that will replace what we have that really is better and not another substitute for what is out there now? Kinda like what I went through hoping for a new list... what new list??? Even the old list right now is having an issue of survival. Interesting times we live in. Kundalini is about direct contact, one to one, at least for me, thought I enjoy learning about all other experiennces. And after experiences like this morning, I reconfirm my gratitude at my independence. Best, traveler 6 Date: Tue, 22 Oct 1996 From: Sherry Tapke Subject: Re: Is the universe real? I got involved in biomagnetics about four months ago. They have an infared quilt that literally comes from the NASA technology used in space and it works. If you and your partner are in the same bed and you know how one sleeps hot and the other cold, the quilt uses your own body heat to regulate your magnetic field. Both become totally comfortable. I haven't got my quilt yet but everyone just raves about it. Let me know if you want more info. Also the magsteps help with it, the magnets create circulation in the feet. I can tell you that the magnets have been a wonderful asset in the past four months. I believe they were brought to me to assist me with my energy work, and to give my body a chance to really regenerate while I sleep. I just had a post from someone who had a friend going into a mental hospital with problems from the energies, this is a simple balancing tool that you can experience and know immediately if it works or not. Gloria I had been told to get off some medication I thought it meant meditating more in the middle of the night when I wake so often, instead the magnets came to me. And, it was taken care of for me. 15 Date: Wed, 23 Oct 1996 From: GrandmmaATNOSPAMaol.com Subject: Re: Time & Visions Dear Dan I have done a lot of writing concerning the illusion of time. Since my K awakening models for understanding concepts of space, matter and time have surfaced. Here are my thoughts on the subject. Boundaries serve as the veil between the physical and spiritual dimensions. Boundaries limit our awareness of the spiritual dimension and protect us from the physical world. Boundaries create time. Space is the matter of time. The fewer boundaries we choose to participate in, the slower time seems to flow. The more technology one participates in, the faster one experiences time passing. If a person can get to the space within the moment, (a no boundaries situation) they experience a timeless state. Such states may include: dreams, meditational states, satori, some crisis situations, alcoholic black outs, extreme emotional states etc. As our boundaries begin to open through the K awakening, I have often found myself in a timeless state. I have also been able to slow time down by not validating excessive boundaries. The reason time seems to be hastening in this day and age is because of all the technological boundaries society has chosen to participate in. The more technology enmeshment, the faster time will seem to flow. Another way to understand this concept is in the breakdown of matter. All gross matter eventually returns to Mother Earth. The more enmeshed technology becomes, the more energy is spent in this breakdown. Time then hastens to make up for that which is diminished. The more technological enmeshment we participate in, the less time we will have to enjoy it. New borns experience timelessness in that their boundaries are not yet formed. As we grow our boundaries form according to our parenting and societys influence. The awakening process is the reopening of the boundary (to be once again like a child). The more open our individual boundaries become, the more energy we are then able to project. By projecting energy rather than hoarding it one can actually alter their envolvment with time. Boundaries are the double edge sword. Balance is the key. Unconditional love opens boundaries. This subject gets difficult to explain in mere words but hope some of this has made sense. With open boundaries, I send to you Unconditional Love and light Jean. 16 Date: Wed, 23 Oct 96 From: Mistress Angelique Serpent Subject: Re: Predestined Free Will - As a personal challenge, I am going to attempt to translate into small words. It is ego that wonders about free will in the first place, and ego that has the experience of it. In truth the arena of spacetime is illusion, time is not real, and the higher self charts the course, the options, and tweaks the ego into thinking it's in charge. >Love and LAUGHING LIGHT-) my scalp tickles! >DAN-RF
