Even putting some sort of symbol in the subject line could make things easier for all. I do not wish to start and endless debate on whether or not we do this. I suggest we come to a quick and firm decision, one way or another, and then get on with all relevant information. Ok, to be fair, you should mention Netscape has cooltalk, and there's Mirc (IRC chat), and Vocaltec internet phone 3 (for win 3.x) and v4 for win95 with whiteboard and conferencing, and digiphone, and Intel has one too. so there are a myrid of ways people can pair off or conference in small groups if they want to. theres a kundalini IRC channel, but it doesnt get used much. internet phone is my favourite. easiest to use and all, and doesnt require win95. Re; Eating. while I do eat meat, there are many foods I must avoid owing to allergies. For a while these were worse, but seem to be moderating, 4 years into the process. Re; perfume. I have experienced the musky perfume and concluded that I am excuding it from my own body. It probably is related to the meeting of the male/female aspects. Scent is a major source of attraction, and we all eliminate phermones. The site of the production of the perfume seems to be the bridge of the nose. It also seems to be related to the Jacobsen's organ that felines, and snakes have. This senses the scent/taste of the air---take your pick here. Re: lotus position. This sets the spine straight, and is why meditators use it. I have found that I am very aware if my spine is even a little off-balance. It drives me nuts! Re: periods/hormones etc. I was going through menopause, and had a very difficult time. So here I don't know which problems were normal and which due to "K". However, all problems have disappeared now, and I think all my hormones are in balance. Everything seems to have been rebalanced by "K" whether they were to do with the feminine or not. My thymus gland also seems to be active now. This normally is only active in childhood. "To enter the kingdom become as a child" Perhaps it is a more literal saying than we think. - Re: Sex My sense of touch is totally heightened. In fact in some way I seem to sense through my skin, even picking information up that way. So sex is better, but the downside is that I find it extremely unpleasant to be near some people physically, because they literally make my skin crawl. I think this may also be because the aura is bigger, and so I am interacting at that level more too. So I pick up negative vibes more easily. I have suggested this a while ago, not necessarily for avoiding flaming but in order to have a live discussion.... live groups are far more dynamic than mail lists, although mail lists allow you to go into more detail. But a more interactive forum opens up new, perviously unexplored possibilities, like experimenting with directing group energy (which could be very powerful with a K-awakened group, even over great distances) using the net to coodinate the participants. That is an area I am very interested in investigating but there seems to be little existing effort for me to research. As a result, I want to eventually create a web page dedicated to such things. If anyone could contribute ideas, material, ANYTHING, contact me. I have PLENTY of web space to use. But I digress! As far as just meeting in the first place, I suggest using IRC. No offense to I.Explorer, but it is non-standard. IRC is a standard means of communication open to nearly anyone on the net. Alternately, we could all meet in a Talker (like a MUD) via Telnet. I could provide a room for such purposes online.... contact me in interested! I'd love to chat with y'all on a more direct basis :-) Give me some ideas... I'm a student and have more time than I knnow what to do with so I could probably very easily coordinate such things on a regular basis. Love and light. Steve! -- Rev. Steve Elsner! K definitely affects me hormonally; I believe it hastened my menopause rather than the other way around (but these things become so circular I've really given up trying to figure it all out!). All sex, masturbation, intercourse, fantasy, etc. etc. has become transcendent. Orgasm is no longer localized to the genital area but is spread out throughout the body, and beyond. To say that the pleasure is greater doesn't begin to describe the qualitative difference. I am usually overcome by tears and trembling and gratitude and great joy -- and love, especially for my partner, although he is not going through a k awakening of his own (and THIS DOES NOT MATTER!). I see the world as permeated by eros, because we are incarnate and live in bodies. As the opening progresses, the body/human experience gets deeper in all ways at the same time that spiritual worlds become more accessible. I find this amazing. I indeed felt a cool breeze swirling in my right palm, but nothing in my left. When I attempting to feel for the breeze at the head chakra, I felt it with the right hand but not the left. What could be the reason to feel a "kundalini breeze" in the right hand but not the left? ______ Hello Steve, I flew to L.A. yesterday and last night met Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. I, too, had been intrigued by the phenomenon of the breezes and wanted to get more info - particularly if it would help me control the k-bursts that leap on me unawares (my original awakening happened on the Summer Solstice in June 1996 - just like clockwork I went through another bout of surging k-energy on Sunday; I didn't realize it until looking at my calendar at work on Monday, but that was the day of the Equinox!). Shri Mataji's major awakening also occurred on March 21 = equinox. Anyway, she states that the right and left channels (pingala and ida nadi's) reflect alternately the creative potential and the active actualization. When we feel a sensation like a cool breeze supposedly things are flowing naturally. When the sensation is absent or hot, there is a blockage or narrowing at the respective chakra. When she was explaining this, she said she felt a tingling on the end of her left little finger that indicated that some in the room had trouble with the 4th chakra (heart). She then looked at me (I was in the front row) and said, "Fathers forgive your son." I hope that this states what she intended; I don't have the spiritual/mystical background/training/autodidaction that many here have. I sometimes feel that the embracing of Chinese/Tibetan/ Japanese/Hindi/Sanskrit terms by some people mask the simple realities of the mechanics of kundalini (that which is coiled (Skt). = potential energy) in much the same way that embracing church/synagogue ritual chains the minds of many of the masses so that they never aspire to pursue the true meaning and experience of spirituality.
