This list exasperates me, makes me feel lonely, includes me, and often makes me feel very, very happy. What is this list if not a feedback loop of a high order, destined to break down over and over again and re-organize with increasing complexity. And, holy cow, doesn't K do the same thing?! Boy am I loving this epiphany! I exhausted all the avenues of western medicine for my problem and then went to yoga. I don't blame or distrust the medical establishment they just couldn't help with this problem. I advocate a mixture of western and alternative medicine. I guess I just want the best of both worlds. Have you seen a western style doctor about your problems. They are very good at solving a lot of acute illnesses. It seems to me that the fail at chronic problems. Take care of your self and tell me how it is going. Sometimes breaking down thought forms that are attached to people, believed and maintained requires a powerful thought form in return. When Christ said "whosoever believeth in me shall have everlasting life", he didn't mean for it to be used for idolization, but rather, to be applied to oneself, because if you don't believe in yourself, after looking in that mirror... - 8 Date: Thu, 05 Sep 1996 Subject: question on awakening I am currently taking a course on "whole brain" learning. It's primary purpose is to allow 100% of the brain to be utilized and control (or programmed) on a conscious level. There are many different applications for this (including "reading" at speeds of over 50,000 wpm) and different exercises are given to integrate both the right and left hemispheres of the brain, as well as to increase awareness (both mental and physical). In the exercises one always has to be in an alpha or light meditative state. I have not had much experience with meditation until these exercises. It seems that whenever I enter this state, I become almost "dizzy". Things seem to be a bit off kilter and I have a hard time maintaining balance. There also seems to be an added pressure on my head. After a few day of the exercises, I now find that I am almost always feeling this way. I realize that this may be totally unrelated to kundalini, but I'm curious if anyone out there had an awakening by taking a course such as this or achieved it quickly through meditation. I do not presume to say that I have had a full (or even partial) awakening, but I find myself at a loss for information. Any help or feedback you can give would be greatly appreciated. Osho teached a dynamic kundalini meditation (http://earth.path.net/aaahyes/ then under center, Kundalini meditation). His writings discuss dynamic meditation extensively and are discussed more at (http://www.osho.org/homepage.htm)-look up his writings on meditation, as well as Tantra, and lots of other neat things. I also have been doing breathing meditations to calm my adrenals. Alternate nostril breathing, straight out of Hatha yoga. There is more to life that the sitting still approach, for those of us who love to be on the move! I am sure the Ashtangis, the dancers, the martial artists, etc., will agree and be full of suggestions as well. - Love and light, Patti 10 Date: Thu, 05 Sep 96 From: Richard Satin Subject: Fwd: Kundalini realisation ------- FORWARD, Original message follows ------- - Date: Thursday, 05-Sep-96 05:45 PM From: Cyber4 at Internet in Derby \ Internet: (cyber4ATNOSPAMinderby.co.uk) To: kundalini-l-d-requestATNOSPAMexecpc.com \ Internet: (kundalini-l-d-requestATNOSPAMexecpc.com) Subject: Kundalini realisation 1. He talks about the need of soul for close personal contact and shared experience. One has choices. They are forming close personal contacts such as friendships, love interests, and /or close personal ties. Another choice is not to form any of these. Instead constantly having people go in and out of your life. The idea is - that the soul doesn't care if the emotion is from pain or joy. It just needs the emotion to feed itself. 2. Would you mind being a little more specific. Different groups tend to mean different things by it. Are you proposing a method of directing the k process once it has occured as well as initiating its release, or simply the former? I'm new to this group, so please forgive any ignorance. I guess I'm a little sceptical, not of the experience itself, but of people's ability to sustain its power in their livesover time; like in Cinderalla, reality can impinge pretty hard until the Prince returns. I'm not sure I could have done it alone myself. What has kept yours going? What sustains and feeds it? Do you yourself have a "teacher" whatever you conceive that to be? Were you 'alone' when it occured? What triggered it? Have you moved beyond it yet? (ie if you conceive of it a a too given to man for a specific purpose, which when served, needs to be moved on from) Thanks for listening and have a great day. jan ------- FORWARD, End of original message ------- -- Burn all the maps to your body. When you begin to go into self discovery you naturally unlock some of the bindings and all of a sudden your faced with dealing with situations that come out of nowhere. This is a part of the breaking down of the illusion, as you go deeper inside to find that truth, challenges change, things become resolved and go away and maybe others come in to take its place, again a part of the illusion. That is why the journey inward, to the center of the circle of life requires great insight about the illusion which means detachment really needs to be acquired, practiced and claimed. The big test is observe everything, don't make some of what you observe more real then others, just watch, listen, observe and move on. Gloria 16 Date: Fri, 6 Sep 1996 From: GgjiATNOSPAMaol.com Subject: Re: question on awakening///the world of energy is calling Stephen, Your becoming aware of another world beyond the world of the senses, that only means that you are just entering in the world of energy and vibration. Kundalini is all about frequency, energy, vibration, movement, light, color, sound, etc. Your perception is changing, what you believe to be true will gradually all fall apart before your very eyes, this is the process of undoing, it is through undoing that one enters more in to truth, light, and can move with the creator without trying to do anything. Great Blessings in store, just relax and observe yourself day and night. Gloria 17 Date: Fri, 6 Sep 1996 From: GgjiATNOSPAMaol.com Subject: Re: Many paths, only one way,...'I' am the way... Through death of self you become awakened to Christ, it is reborn in you, and in letting go of separation you are absorbed back into the whole. This is the process of the whole Christ story, follow it through and you will see that each experience will be yours symbolically, and through each letting go of self, you become more filled with the third person of God, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit teaches you, and increases light and frequency very gradually so that you don't blow up. It is all a process. But there is much more to the mystical journey then what you are now aware of. It is a mystery of transcendence and universal consciousness.
