kundalini-l-d Digest Volume 96 : Issue 116 1 Date: Sat, 24 Aug 1996 From: Wendy Subject: Akashic records Hi Everyone, A few bits about the Akashic records. I became aware of the term after having experienced several interconnected events which changed my consciousness. I believe this is called kundalini???? LOL (I assume so anyway or I'm on the wrong 'list') At the time of those events I was picking up 'signals' and information that was distinctly different from my previous experience as a human bean. I will try to describe it but hesitate, bear with me please, because I know how much WORK it's gonna take to do so and I don't like working so hard and I'm not sure I will succeed here. It was as if I saw All Thought. All knowledge, information, history, genealogy, wisdom, perception, Unity, connectedness, threads, roads, pathways, enlightenment, Divine recipes, animal souls, rock souls, planetary awarenesses, art, evolution, etc etc etc (see what I mean???? oi!) and that all of this STUFF......the computer consultant in me now wants to call it RAW DATA, sorry......was in this big infinite 'space' of space. I was able to pull whatever I needed at the time from it. I still do this in a rather less dramatic way now, and randomly...I don't 'control' it nor do I know how to....at present, I don't seem to have easy access so I assume I'm somewhat blocked from doing so. I use what's there but filtered almost??? and nothing like what was going on then, when I first saw this. I think of it as my innate "intelligence", intuition ,etc that allowed me to 'go' there. Not intellect, but intelligence - if that rings a bell out there for any?. After experiencing it, I went in search of some information about this 'space' in space stuff and learned that people referred to it as the Akashic records. I started reading about Edgar Cayce's life, etc and he speaks of it. I also picked up an encyclopedia of all things esoteric and it gives a description of it. I wish I could put my hands on the encyclopedia right now but it's packed in a box somewhere from my last move. I'll try to find that definition of Akashic records and send it here - but perhaps someone else has one they can pass along, too, in the meantime. As simply as I can make it, the Akashic records is the central 'database' for all thoughts, deeds, words, actions, everything that ever is or was or will be that anyone can 'tap' into at any time. The Universal Sourcebook is how I think of it. Available to all, just like going to your free public library and borrowing a book. - In my own mind I 'see' it as a big floating mass of stuff....surrounded by the infinite cosmos. It's 'out there' floating around. Solid, but not static. I have no need to delineate for me if it's outside or inside my own conscious 'mind' - and "in" each one of us or "separate." It's enough for me to have seen it, tapped into it and used it....to, once again, validate to me that whatever we need is within. You need only use the free public library card with your name on it to "go" there and dive in. Thanks for all the great posts lately. I'm still reading......too..... - Love, Wendy 2 Date: Sat, 24 Aug 1996 From: Dan Gahlinger Subject: Re: To Wendy Re: Akashic records line At 02:41 PM 8/24/96 -0400, you wrote: >You won't connect up to the Akashic records until you are clearly moving >about away from the body in consciousness, and have developed and balanced >out the Heart, and third eye center. Of course, we ARE talking the universal card file here folks, just the "Q" index is longer than all the books in the world put together. No I do not agree with this type of B.S. I did not get caught either! Lucky me. Anyway, after I left the school people would not talk to my mom and grandmother on Sunday mornings at church. We were suddenly shunned because I no longer was attending 'their school'. So guess what, I think those people in particular where hypocrites and I take my religion elseware! I would like to introduce the flip side of Richards beautiful quote above. I am drawn to infants - it is like a magnet for me. And when I look into the eyes of a new one I can see God. I can't help but touching a newborn, and can feel the life force very strongly with them. They just came from something which I know deep inside is still with me, just not so close to the surface as with a newborn. I take great joy at watching them be intrigued by our world. I will tell you a quick story I read in a wonderful book about angels.... A young couple came home from the hospital with their newborn son, and introduced him to his little sister - she was about 3 (I think). The little girl loved her brother and kept on insisting that she be left alone with him. The parents thought this wasn't such a good idea - you never know what could happen, so kept dissuading her. The little girl kept insisting that she had to speak privately to the baby. So the parents reluctantly put the baby into his crib, and left the 3 year old in the room with him, watching through the crack in the door, that all went well. The little girl approached the baby in the crib, and with great excitement asked the baby "You have to tell me about God..... I'm forgetting". Gloria If we go by the usual understanding of the word "avatar", then there are, have been, and will be plenty of avatars around. Then the term "son of god" is not exclusive. In fact, if you look at it another way, we are all avatars. We have been here before, and we may be here again. Therefore, there is no need to lay such a lot of stress on anyone in particular being a "son of god". We are all derived from the same creative energy, that has created the whole universe. We all are equal, because we all carry its essence in our Inner-Self. We are all 'sons of god' or 'daughters of god'. There isn't anybody special. We all have the essence in us in equal measure. Even, you are 'son of.. sorry, daughter of god', so whats the big deal?. I don't meant to offend, we are just discussing openly. :) Peace and Love Tej - 20 Date: Sun, 25 Aug 1996 From: tejkohliATNOSPAMgiasdl01.vsnl.net.in Subject: Advocate of the devil Hi Von! I expected to be bothered by the end, based on what's been posted here re: cop-out brain tumor, but was not. I think the plot gave plenty of opportunity to see Spirit only. The main character, in so much pain and frustration, seemed to have chosen that cop-out scenario for everyone else's comfort and his own. I think there was enough indication of that for "those who have ears". Or, maybe I'm just projecting a whole hell of a lot. I feel like making such a choice sometimes. I am a bit bothered by having to keep so much of my K experience ( and a lot of pre-K oddities as well ) to myself. I do believe that we "disturb the illusion" at our own peril, and must tread lightly for maximum effect - as well as for our own comfort. Someone had a great quote about only waking those who are already stirring. That seems to apply. Oh, well. If anyone agrees with me, I could use the support just now. This past week has been tough. Master Rusty McMains 25 Date: Sun, 25 Aug 96 From: Richard Satin Subject: Fwd: Anonymous Post (Awakening Awry?) Subject: Anonymous Post (Awakening Awry?) Recent events had caused me to forget my mother's birthday for the first time in over 40 years. So, I called her this evening to express my regrets and wish her a Happy 71st birthday. She has had what she desribes as 'nerve trouble' for many years now and has been in persistant discomfort/pain for much of the recent past. She has sought medical, psychiatric, and spiritual help. None has been able to provide a diagnosis or relief. Knowing this, I followed my birthday wishes with an inquiry into the current state of her health. As usual, she recounted that not much was forthcoming in the way of relief. Then, uncharacteristically, she for the first time went into the actual details of her symptoms (other than her usual vague reference to discomfort/pain and then changing the subject). She described a painful tender fontanelle area at the top center of her head, a constant feeling of electricity moving through her body, tingling in the extremities, a burning sensation to her skin, and extreme sensitivity to touch. She related that she had to use a potholder just to be able to unplug an appliance - the plastic plug was too hard, sharp and painful to grip. Additionally, she has had localized pain that moves to various spots on her spine - this has been in the neck area for over a year now; her most recent photograph shows her having to hold her head in a looking-down-to-the-right position due to this. Having just recently gone through an awakening and from reading the posts on this list, it immediately came to mind that it was possible that her symptoms might be caused by an awakening gone awry. This thought occurred as soon as she mentioned the painful sensations at the top of her head and the electrical feeling. I was listening to her continue to recount the symptoms, when an authoritative voice spoke quite clearly (like a kibitzer) and said,"Echinacea would help, take it steeped in boiling water, with a little honey and lemon, at mealtimes three times a day for four weeks, then stop taking it for two weeks and continue taking it; four weeks on and two weeks off." I said nothing to her about this, continued the conversation and hung up. I know the name Echinacea from my gardening as Prairie Cone Flower. I also knew that it was used as an herb for something, but not what. I went to the store and checked out the products available - there were several types, all 380 mg. One could be made into a infusion since it came in a gelatin capsule - however, all of them said that it was good for colds and flu. I intend to send this to her and tell her about the experience since it appears that little in the way of harm could come from it and she has little access to things of this nature in the farming community of Wisconsin where she lives. - Has anyone had any experience with herbs providing benefit or relief from physical discomfort brought on by the awakening or any other opinions or suggestions that may be of help? This condition has also been distressing to her emotionally since the help she has sought - when they were not able to provide a diagnosis - told her that she is being a hypochondriac or has some other mental problem. On the contrary, I have known her to be stoic, pragmatic, level-headed and has had almost no illness in her life - and when she has, would rarely take any medication more than an occasional aspirin. - Thanks, Awakening Awry? A face that has the marks of having lived intensely, that expresses some phase of life, some dominant quality or intellectual power, constitutes for me an interesting face. I have been impressed with the "arguing" back & forth, then the agreement to disagree by both or all parties. Ending on the humor, giggles, & love has been a joy for me to watch. Does anyone have any ideas as to what "happens" when K has done its job, and we're integrated with our spirit self? What do we get out of all this? Why are we going through it?
