Things have been pretty calm for me lately, however I have noticed a change
nad newexperience that many of you have mentioned in previous posts.  It is
only occuring when I read the K list posts, which seems strange, unless
reading them is causing the energy to surge.  The experience I am
expereincing is located at the top of my head and is a burning/ tingling/
stinging sensation.  It could also be increasing because on Sunday I am
leaving for Kauai, HI. for a two week trip. I will be doing a lot of
spriitual, healing work while there and my body may be preparing for this.
 Does anyone have any thoughts on this matter?

BTW, I will miss you all very much while away from my computer and list.  I
will have a great deal of mail to catch up on, so I may respond to some posts
a week or so after they have been posted.  Hope no one minds. :D

As to my question above, if anyone has any thoughts please post quickly, I'd
like to read them before I leave on Sunday morning, if possible. Thank you in
advance1

To answer your question on living near fault lines- I do, as well.  Sorry, it
took a while to respond, busy with college finals and lots of mail to catch
up on.  I live in Missouri, a few hours north of the fault line, basically
centered in New Madrid, MO.  I do not think that at present I feel earthquake
sensitivity, but you never know.

I am a musician, and every time I play, I get into a meditative space.  In
fact some of my best ideas come when I play.  If I am alone, I keep a notepad
beside me.
Even when I was a child I used music as a therapeutic tool.

Once in meditation, I was told that music heals the world.  It cancels out
some of the discord.  Even when you are alone, those in other realms are
listening.

Like Gloria, I love to improvise.  Also a lot of the universal knowledge I
get comes through in the form of musical notation and harmony.

This piece by Rumi probably expresses it best.

Don't worry about saving these songs!
And if one of the instruments breaks, it doesn't matter.
We have fallen into the place where everything is music.

Perhaps that is how you feel?

I have read the kabbalah unfortunately.  But thanks for the try.
Had a conversation with someone yesterday, and I think they have the book i
need.

Raymond:
I have St. Germaine and love it.  If his images aren't clear, meditating on
them helps.   If you know about the Egyptian mysteries it helps, because the
work is based on that imagery.

Before "K" my eyes were blurred.  I used to get a feeling that I was trying
to go through the back of my retinas and would get stuck  It was cool, could
see the cones etc.
Since "k', I now go staight through into the brain.  this is wierd.  Has
anyone else experienced this.  My eyes also cleared up.
Snakes when they shed their skins--a symbol of new birth, get clouded eyes
which clear up afterwards.  I nearly freaked when I read that piece of
information recently.

Wouldn't you know it I walked into the bookstore today and bought the book
Earth.

When one is imbalanced they lust but when they are becoming balanced
that lust vanishes. Since the action of the love is created by balance
one gives love when making love. Also one notices that they can make
different choices that they didn't notice before. There is a comfort
where there was just fright. The comfort to make love for a whole day
without the need for physical orgasm becuase there is a ongoing
spiritual bliss that makes it fun to do what ever you and your lover
want to do for that day.

The book EARTH was written by Barbara Marciniak with two other co authors.  I
have read BRINGER'S OF THE DAWN, wonderful book (IMHO).  I am curretnly
reading EARTH.  I would recommend both of them to anyone interested, but they
need to be read in order, other wise, EARTH, will be harder to follow.

Hello, Everyone, I am new to this.  I am visiting family in Tennessee and
have never been on the Internet before, and I found this site about 30
minutes after my first search.  it was  as if I was automatically drawn to
it.  I've been reading the postings for the past day or two.  I find it
interesting that there is talk about Brigers of the Dawn and Earth.  I read
Bringers of the Dawn several years ago, and it has stayed on my shelf since
that time.  It was one of the books I was drawn to bring on this trip.  There
must be some information in there that needs to come into my consciousness.
I posed
this question to the site manager and have not heard from him, so I thought I
would toss it out to you all.  I feel I had a kundalini awakening in 1989,
 because since then I have been on a very intense spiritual path of deep
transformation.  It feels like at times it has consumed my life.  But for the
past two months or so I have been in what can only be described as a
lethargic funk.  The things that used to bring me joy and zest for living no
longer interest me.  I feel like I just can't shake it.  It's as though I've
done nothing but cry for most of the summer.
If any
of you are familiar with astsrology, I am in the midst of my Uranus
opposition, the astrological time for kundalini experiences to occur more
frequently.  I am wondering if I am getting ready for Round 2 of some more
transformation.  My question is this:  Does anyone have any advice they can
give me?  Has anyone been through this, and if they have, what have they done
to remedy this situation?  Is this just a figment of my imagination and I
should just take some Prozac and blow it off?
Also, several of my friends are
going through the same thing.  We are all extremely committed to our
spiritual awakenings and are all in this start of waht can only be described
as some form of depression.  This is quite unusual for all of us.  Any advice
and help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone!

	I am new to the list. I am glad to be on it, and to get a chance
to intertact with people interested in this fascinating topic. 

	My name is Tej Kohli. I had a spontaneous ignition of kundalini on 
August 28, 1978. Since then this energy has been active in me. I have been 
through a number of highs and lows, agonies and ecstacies. But through it all
there has been a perceptible change for the better, and for more freedom.

	In my quest for help with the energy (for that's what I call it),
I have spent about a decade with world known kundalini and 'spiritual'
masters. Eventually I left them in disappointment and disgust.

	I feel that kundalini is no respector of religion or religious 
sentiments. It is in fact opposed to the teachings of many of the
so called Masters, in the sense that it is more a primal energy, and
does not care so much for man-made notions of what is right or wrong,
good or bad etc.

	The energy also has a tendency to bring to the surface any sort
of problems or pathologies in the sub-concious mind, in the process of
cleaning up and making one free from the conditioned traps of the mind.

	I am an American Citizen who was originally born in India. I came 
back to India following the guru that I was with at the time, in order to 
seek help in my kundalini process. Personally I didn't know what the hell 
kundalini was when it awakened in me, and there was a stage when I wanted it 
turned off. I left the guru etc. but stayed on in India, just because it was 
cheaper to live. I didn't have any job at the time. Now I am running a 
reasonably profitable computer consulting business. But I plan to visit USA 
this year sometime.

	I would like to add my comments about a topic that seems to
incite interest in the list members - and that is sex. In my experience,
sex and kundalini are very intimately related. I don't know why. At one time 
in my life, during the early days of arousal, I also used to have ideas about
sex that went like - well it is a lower form of energy, or less spiritual,
or not so clean etc. However, with the passage of time and the cleaning
process I find that sex is a very profound expression of the universe's
creative energy. It could only be said to be very beautiful. The reason that
it is so attractive is because we get a glimpse of the bliss in store in us 
during orgasm. This bliss during a brief orgasm is the kind of bliss we
seek, alongwith the freedom from the bondage of the mind. My experience
is that we do not in any way get away from our goal by focussing on sex. Now
energy does not get trapped in the second or swadisthan chakra. In fact,
paradoxically, if I try to act 'spiritual' or 'pure', the energy will move
to the s. chakra. I think the reason is that this energy is PRIMAL in nature.
We must try to understand it from that viewpoint, and not from our limited
human mental one, with its own ideas of good and bad.

	I am glad to be on the list, and hope that I can contribute to it
as well as learn from others on it.

This is much like the testing period after the initial awakening surge, it is
not in the least unusual. It is a time for self reflection, silence, and
adjusting the attitude to align with divine will. Don't get caught up in your
own thought forms or those of others, go inside, ask if you are being tested

One book I like very much is called Words of Power which goes into various
disciplines including Jewish and brings out the wonderful meditations from
each. That is by Ester Crowley. 

There are also several I've read on the Kabbalah. You know many of the occult
works are based on the Tree of Life, so many of them cross over into Jewish
tradition. My book I wrote  called Good and Evil In Our Times looks into the
nature of vibrations and frequencies so that one can read these materials
without going off base. I have read many books including Alester Crowley
which is the left path into mystical works, very low frequency, yet in his

Music and dance are very powerful mediums in the awakening process because
they both draw the soul/spirit in to movement. In order to dance we have to
lose awareness of self to become one with the sound, in playing music, one
has to be silent and still so that the finer frequencies of sound can get
through and drop down into this plane. It is really a wonderful discipline
for the awakening consciousness because there is much to master within the

I have found some help in disapline and also creating subtal bodies
that I can expeiment with things that might not be proper for this or
that. I work my kundalini awakenings into my photography and graphic
designs. With a hightened awareness one can convert or sample a energy
expression without becoming overburdened by it. 

I seem to have a six sense that tells me that I have to do my own
things. As Tej Kohli "I have spent about a decade with world known
kundalini and 'spiritual'
masters." This is the same thing that the buddha stated or close to it.
I have also done this but my six sense tells me that going the route of
the socalled 'spirirual' masters can only give you a limited area of
infomation. This is one of the big problems when people blindly follow
only one way insted of creating their own way.

My way is very sexual in a mental action refining way. I use different
energys to create effects to a given thing. I have learned that the
biggest problem with sexual things is that people are always lusting
after this and that. One insight just yesterday gave me this idea. Why
don't you love after this and that. I am into testing my actions in my
meditations before doing them. This refined way of doing things is how
I do things. More refined, the more easer, the more benifical for
everyone.

I work and create work that requires pre-testing of an idea. It also
might be becasue I am apted to go with my emotions. This means that I
have to learn how to use what comes to me to use.

My photography is in the areas of stri8t gay, lesbian, erotica. Hard
and softcore. Fashion and portraiture. Men, women, and children.
Doing things that are law full is the nature of right action if one can
develop their action effectively and effecantly then it saves having to
do it again and again.

I'm sorry I don't know if that is the correct name as you did not sign your
letter, so forgive me if it's not.

My heart chakra opened wide 18 years ago.  For several months beforehand i
went through the depression you described.  While there were depressing
things in my life at the time, much of it was to do with childhood memories,
and also some earth conditions.

Now I realize it all was a means of cleansing junk that had been stored in my
body.  It was necessary to go through that process first.

Then eventually i got to a point where things seemed so hopeless I just gave
it all up to God.  Very ungraciously, because my attitude was here God take
me and do something with me if you can, but I'm so hopeless I don't even
believe you can help.

what happened was I was instantly surrounded by universal love so prrofound,
it has never left me.  I could have stayed in that moment forever.  It has
sustained me through everything else.  My "K" rising only happened 4 years
ago so there was still in my case much to do..

Sometimes the pattern is different for each one, depending also on where you
were in past lives, because in each incarnation we need to remember where we
were before developing further.  But the implication is that this kind of
thing can be a way of cleansing ourselves. 

Many who have experienced "K", still go through this because they also
experience all the grief stored in the collective unconscious.  This has
happened to me also since I had the "K" experience.

I've long got to the point that I'm not surprised by anything that comes up.
 But even so some of it is disconcerting.  Especially since like you I was
brought up in a church which frowns on channeling as being evil and from the
devil.

At one time I studied the Tarot cards through the "House of the Addenyum "
(not sure of the spelling) They never use the cards as a fortune telling
tool, but as a way to penetrate the mysteries of the universe.  This really
goes very deep and they use  the Kabbalah system a lot.  The first thing they
do is give you a card one at time.  The cards are not colored so you must
color each card.  The reason for this is so it becomes permanently imprinted
in you mind.  The each symbol, color, Hebrew letter, position, numbers and so
on have very specific meanings. You have to concentrate on the cards and it
will start to extract special meaning that can not be put in words.  The
 Kabbalah system is hidden throughout  the card structures.  After the last
card is colored and concentrated on for months.  Then all the cards start to
come to life.  All of the secret mystery school teachings are in those cards.
 In fact it becomes so imprinted in your mind that you think of every thing
in life in relation to those cards.  If you wanted to talk with a master of
the mystery school you only have to concentrate on the cards.  They even
communicate though all the spiritual planes by thought transference of those
images on the cards. It becomes a way of communication with on all planes.
  They say what is the best way for the high priests of ancient times to
preserve and disseminate the secret teaching of those times?   The churches
and Kings of those times would kill anyone as a witch that had this
knowledge.  They figured out that the best way to preserve and disseminate
this secret information was through the gypsies to use in fortune telling.
 People are always greedy and the gypsies would never know the deeper meaning
in those cards.  The  high priests must of been very wise, as it worked.

I know some of the people on this list use these cards so let me know what
