I've always lived "in my head", even as a child. I'm 40, Melissa, so sorry. I was raised a Catholic, but left the Church when I was 13 because I thought they treated women like second class citizens, which I still think today. But the K made me reconsider the teachings of Jesus, and I must say I agree with Him. But still when I see a priest, I can't help but think of the merchants in the temple... To Richard, May I express my gratitude for this mailing list that enable us to exchange on this very touchy subject that we can't discuss with our friends in general. I live in a small town and I've found already 3 other people whom I feel are experiencing the K forces. Why now? I'm sorry to say that one of them had his awakening subsequent to a reiki course, or opening of the canal. He's now on antidepressants and not ready to hear anything on the subject. One other person, I have those dreams about, premonitions or divinations. Is there a reason this phenomenon would expand? Please, no millenium madness argument, I've thought of this one. Love to all. Viviane SnowbirdVATNOSPAMgnn.com [5]: From: Melissa Ann Fornof Subject: questions I would really like some opinions on a few things: My strange experience at church, which I described in my last post; I'd like to know if people on this list think it is wrong or unwise for someone to deliberately try to awaken Kundalini if it doesn't happpen spontaneously and why or why not; and possible explanations/reasons for a "vision" a had mid-Kundalini experience. I will describe it shortly. I know that noone knows everything; I just want some input. As several people have mentioned, your intuition should be your own guide. But I have found recently that my mind is so cluttered, it takes a few suggestions directly related to my question for me to be able to use it. I know that sounds crazy, but at this point my intuition needs a little boost--a little exercise, if you will. Perhaps it will help strenthen it for me. I would really appreciate some opinions. You may e-mail me directly if you wish. This is my "vision": A while back, I was about to drift off to sleep when I heard a pop in my left ear; then I felt a warm ooze inside my ear. Only it wasn't liquid--it felt like "energy water." That's the only way I can describe it. Immediately after this, I saw through closed lids in a dark room what looked like a distant black movie screen. Very rapidly, it was replaced by another, a shade lighter--then another, a shade lighter--and so on, about 7 or 8 times, all in about 2 seconds. The screens never progressed to color or light, but graduated from black to medium-grey, a shade at a time. Then, out of the corners of my eyes, came the outline of a large red square. It zoomed in quickly to the center of the last "screen," shrinking in size and ending a fully-filled-in tiny red square. It stayed for about 30 seconds. I have been perplexed by this strange "vision," nothing like it happened before or since. I wonder if there is some special meaning for it or message to me in it that I just haven't gotten. All comments and suggestions are welcome, on the list or privately. Thanks in advice for your comments. Love to all, Melissa [6]: From: jenny.hillATNOSPAMmail.utexas.edu (Jennifer Hill) Subject: reply to Pam >Hi, My name is Pam. I'm looking for practical advice for coping with severe head pressures, insomnia, etc. that go along with the whole process. Hi Pam, I don't know how long you've been on this list, and this may be something you've already read when I posted the same thing to Patti. The thing I know about that I think would be the most help is to work with what's called a MAP team. I know you're probably used to some of the "stranger" things in life, but this was really strange for me when I first heard about it, and so I'm just offering this little caveat. Anyway, the MAP team is a group of ascended souls ( I think of them as Boddhisattvas) from the "White Brotherhood", (NOT a racist group!) They're ascended beings, Jesus Christ being one of them. They are eager and ready to help with us with the physical problems accompanying spiritual evolution and K movement. The way to work with them is outlined in a book called: _MAP: The Co-Creative White Brotherhood Medical Assistance Program_ by Machelle Wright. She wrote the book after her own experiences with severe head pain associated with spiritual expansion led her to discover and work with these entities for relief from the pain. (She was a Findhorn researcher doing work with nature and plant spirits.) The work is very easy and uncomplicated, she recommends using flower and plant essences and muscle testing as adjuncts to the work with the MAP team, but neither are necessary and I have done this work without them. My experiences with this work have been phenomenally beneficial on every level. There's absolutely nothing complicated, difficult or expensive about this work, and I can't recommend it highly enough. You literally have your own team of "physicians" working on you on all levels of existence. By the way, I've been a bodyworker for 12 years and don't take this sort of thing lightly, but for the kinds of problems you've been having I think this would be fantastic. It's helped me a lot with the difficulty sleeping, especially. If you're interested and can't find the book based on what I've told you, I'll send the address where you can order it directly. I'm actually going to post the address to this mailing list very soon, as other people have expressed interest in it, too. Other suggestions would be getting help from a Network chiropractor, as they sort of specialize in K energy (people have had varying degrees of help from them), a Reiki practitioner, a Trager practitioner, and/or also checking into Re-evaluation Co-counseling-- a great way to remove the blockages that the energy may be running into. If you're interested in the "RC" counseling, a peer counseling technique taught and practiced by "non-professionals" I can find out for you who to contact in your area about learning about it. I know these aren't the most immediate answers, like maybe you were hoping for, but as far as the MAP work goes, as soon as you get the book and start doing it, help is definitely almost immediate. hope any of this is helpful Jenny p.s. to the list folks, sorry about re-posting this info, but i couldn't get an email to Pam p.p.s to Carlo-- I know this MAP stuff must seem absurd to you, but all I can say is that it's done tremendous things for me. For all I know, it may just be a funny way of accessing my own power to heal myself, but somehow the idea that there are benevolent beings assisting me from "the great beyond" is a comfort to me. Who knows, perhaps that comfort accounts for a more powerful "placebo" effect, if that's all it is, anyway. But if it is just a placebo, at least it's free! Well, except for the price of the book, about $14, I think. ---------------------------------------------------------- Jenny Hill, research associate/editor--Directory of Texas Manufacturers Bureau of Business Research, UT Austin, PO Box 7459, Austin TX 78713-7459 email: jenny.hillATNOSPAMmail.utexas.edu 512-475-7805 or 512-475-7807 [7]: From: V487ATNOSPAMaol.com Subject: Re: questions Melissa Posted: I would really like some opinions on a few things: My strange experience at church, which I described in my last post; I'd like to know if people on this list think it is wrong or unwise for someone to deliberately try to awaken Kundalini if it doesn't happpen spontaneously and why or why not; and possible explanations/reasons for a "vision" a had mid-Kundalini experience. I will describe it shortly. Dear Melissa: Please accept my two cents worth. My understanding is that there is no problem at all in deliberately awakening this kundalini. In fact that is what most yoga schools of thought teach. There is a real danger however involved in not having a solid foundation first to which I surely never had. In the state mental hospitals you will always see patients that really should not belong in such a place. I was in the medical fild for many years so that is way I mentioned this. The patients just went out of control due to the fact that so much (strange new and different) material came into their consciousness so fast. There is just way to much on the other side for any one person to comprehend and sort out alone. Of course the natural awakening is much better because it happens at you own speed. You may wonder what the awakening has to do with the other side? If you notice the out of body experiences go hand in hand with a lot of people and probably most. Concerning the intuition part of your letter. The way entities communicant on the other side is just by only intuition. ( My own remarks ). So the more you come in tune with your true self the more intuition you will have. Foundation again! It seems clear to me that you must start working on your self right a way and I would really advise (suggest) that you not try to awaken this force at this time. I am just trying to help you because once you get stuck it is very difficult to get good help. There are just so many aspects involved centering around this kundalini like for example your ears popping. I hope that is all the problems that you will encounter. If so you are real lucky. Foundation is the keyword. I tried to answer you the best that I could. [9]: From: Richard Satin Subject: White fog - Lubuvitcher Rebbe Last night I was at a fundraiser honoring the Lubuvitcher Rebbe. For those of you who are not familiar with him, he was a very powerful individual, who could and did effect people from all walks of life, sometimes simply by looking at or touching them. His strongest quality was his overwhelming love for all people from all races as individuals. It was this awareness which came over me almost as a presence. At this presentation, a short video was shown of the giving of the U.S. Congressional gold medal, presented recently posthumously. Interspersed were pictures of him at various times in his life. Throughout the evening, the vision out of my left eye blanked in and out, as if by a white fog. While this was going on, I sensed a palpable lightness about my head and torso. The experience faded in and out repeatedly. Sensations are pretty common for all of us. I tend to observe them, and not give them to much importance. But this was pretty odd (for me). Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Richard -- libraATNOSPAMexecpc.com http://www.execpc.com/~libra/ ............................................................................
