Humans are frail and not perfect and fart and snore in bed. You have
to work with them and train them and love them where they are at
cause no one is born perfect. It is not romantic at all.

Hello Susan and List,
Well, l'm happy to say that my lovers didn't fart and snore in bed. :)
To the contrary, many were beautiful dreamboats and time in bed, at least,
felt pretty romantic to me -- but l guess you're right, Susan, that a
relationship that really lasts is usually more work than romance.

But what l really wanted to talk about
was k and sex -- from my perspective. l think it's important to point out
that for some people, like me, k means the end of sex, unless we're talking
about Susan't spiritual orgasms (haven't had many of those yet either). ln
fact, it's gone beyond lack of sex to being a serious threat to my health.

From
the very beginning of my awakening 8 yrs ago my sexual potency was weakened
and changed. Orgasms were weaker and often at the third eye and have remained
so until today. And to get real personal, even my penis size isn't quite what
it was. l haven't had sex with a woman during this time and occasional
masturbation produces a hangover effect. And women look more beautiful to me
than ever, ha ha.

But even this enforecd celibacy is not my main concern anymore. l
learned 2 yrs ago that l had osteoporosis. Why? Because k lowered my
testosterone level enough to interfere with calcium absorption, thus putting
me in the same position as postmenopausal women. Of course, my doctor didn't
explain to me what the low testosterone level meant. When l asked him then if
low testosterone could cause osteoporosis he just gave me a blank stare (l
have absolutely NO other risk factors for the disease, BTW). l had to
research it on the internet, where l got a clear answer.
;Of course, there are
medications for osteoporosis, but guess what? K has made my system so
sensitive that l can't take any of them. Myacalcin gives me headaches -- and
just today l found that ipriflavone, a synthesized soy extract l held out so
much hope for, upsets my stomach. l've got one more faint hope: l'm seeing a
doc next week to talk about testosterone replacement therapy. l've put it off
till last because of risk factors and, l guess, because l've been vainly
hoping that the testosterone would return to normal on its own.
So, this is one of those times in which k feels like a
curse. l hope l'm wrong, but it feels like the osteop. is getting worse -- l
have frequent aching in my hands and feet. l comforted myself with the
thought that these were just k aches and pains, and to some extent they may
be, but now l think it's also osteop.
l'm a very
youthful and athletic looking 57 -- you'd never guess my age or that l have
this disease, but quite honestly, l'm getting worried. Hip and spinal
fractures are no laughing matter. l hope l can use k to achieve something
spiritually because, l'll tell you, it's shown little regard for my physical
well being.
love,
jerry
