Jenell,
In my terms what you are talking about is PRANA. PRANA is the life force in
everyone. Healers direct and use it for healing. I use it for healing
through physical exercise, I also use it for educating people without words,
bypassing the word thinking mind. In its raw state you will feel it as a
very warm heat trickling or moving as a thick liquid in the body.
In a refined state it becomes pure intelligence. An intensive, joyful,
tingle bliss feeling , either inside or outside the body. The tingle feeling
is usually felt when the prana builds up & pushes against a block in the
body normally a diseased area, due to a karmic imprint.
Eventually it comes to the last block in the body & mind. The first imprint
that all living vertebrates carry. That of life's emergence from the sea ,
at nearly the beginning of time. It is responsible for all illness & death
that we suffer from on this planet. It is the trapped kundalini at the base
of the spine.
The intensive, joyful, tingle, bliss, builds up to the extent of becoming
almost unbearable, the kundalini imprint unwinds & both enter susumna. Where
it goes from there depends on what you believe in. All things to all men &
ladies of course!
Very few people get to this stage, but most experience the stages that you
have described so well.
A good teacher can use prana over any distance. I wrote to my revered
teacher in '85 asking for advise on 2 problems. 1 a physical exercise, 2
concerned my left testicle. He gave me advise. I wrote back to thank him.
Some days later a "drop of prana" - an intensive tingle was felt in my l.
testicle as it pushed through a block.
