Dear Howard

When I first read this statement of yours in your original post, I was
getting ready to retort, but then for some reason I didn't, maybe because I
am getting a bit tired of nit-picking and arguing in general. However, I
just changed my mind because today I feel like sharing my thoughts.

You see, I am one of those many people who are afflicted by pain. Let me
tell you, it got much worse since K started to unfold. K tends to find any
blockages within my system and then magnify them, as if to not let me forget
that they are there and that there is still plenty of unresolved stuff for
me to work on. You know, if I were to be asked if I want to experience pain
or not, can you guess what my answer would be? Do you think I would say, oh
yes, oh, please give it to me, make me suffer? You see, I didn't get a
choice in the matter and here I am, suffering from chronic pain in neck and
shoulder area which frequently triggers migraine strength headaches that
have me vomit and rave like a madwoman if I don't take strong painkillers to
counter the attack.

I think you are somewhat wrong with your statement that pain has nothing to
do with Kundalini. When there are blockages within a person, usually
emotional ones that can manifest on the physical level as well, then K can
cause pain in an individual. It is not because K is evil and trying to hurt
people, but because it wants to flow freely and when finding any blockages
within a person, it will try to clear them away in order to flow through.
This process may, unfortunately, cause physical pain, as I found out
firsthand when K finds the clogged areas. But I consider pain to be a
teacher in it's own way. It let's me know that I should pay attention, that
something is not OK. It's a very strong and powerful message from my brain
that drives home the message and cannot be easily ignored. Maybe otherwise I
woudn't listen, maybe I am stubborn? (Yes, I admit that I am somewhat
stubborn). It has also been theorized that pain helps to burn up bad karma
from the past. Well, then there would be at least one upside to this whole
pain issue.

Now, if being afflicted by pain makes me a masochist, then writing your
above statement would make you a sadist for rubbing it in my face and coming
off all smug and condescending.
