I've heard her name a lot lately. I started to listen to a visualization
tape but it didn't do anything for me. What do you mean by this? Is her
name of any signficanec?

There is a wonderful chi kung visualization/meditation I use that draws from
the energy of the sun. It can be done in the house, but I generally save it
(the way I save the lunar meditation, and stars meditation) for those days
when I'm outdoors in that element...unless it's really gloomy and rainy
outdoors...then I use it to bring sunlight in....

It goes something like this (adapted from Ken Cohen):

When you are relaxed and in touch with your breath, you imagine yourself
sitting on the edge of a huge cliff. In front of you is the ocean. On the
horizon, the sun is rising. As it rises and gets warmer and brighter, you
feel the warmth envelope you. As you watch, a bridge forms from the sun to
you...beckoning you.... a fiery bridge of the sun's rays. You rise, and you
float across this bridge, the sun getting larger and warmer as you get
closer. Eventually, you arrive at the sun, and find yourself IN the
sun...surrounded by the intense warmth and energy of golden sunlight. You
breath it in deeply, and feel golden liquid sunshine...like liquid topaz....
flow into you as you swallow...and as you do this, you find that you BECOME
the sun.....you ARE the light, you ARE the energy....and as you keep
breathing deeply, you feel it all through you.... and you continue to take
in the liquid warmth.......and you keep breathing in and swallowing
sunlight...you take it in as you inhale...and feel it go down as you
exhale...you do this as long as you like, until you feel the energy of the
sun as golden shimmering topaz within you... energizing you and giving you
vitality...renewing you.....and when you have had enough...you become
yourself again...and you find yourself within the sun...fully warmed, fully
energized...filled with golden sunlight....and taking this golden sunlight
with you, you imagine yourself floating back across the fiery bridge to the
cliff... you watch the flaming bridge pull back to the sun...and as you
exhale, you still feel the sun's energy within you move from your lower Tan
Tien to your middle Tan Tien (your heart area)...and as you inhale, you feel
it move down to the lower Tan Tien (second chakra area)...and then up again,
and then down again....and you feel that vibrant warm energy continue to
breathe and pulse inside you as you finally let it settle down into your
lower Tan Tien...and as you do, you let the image fade, knowing that you are
energized and renewed and whole...connected with the universe through the
sun...and that you have the sun within you, to warm and energize you at any
time you need it....

Relax and breathe naturally for a few minutes before getting up....

Enjoy....

you mean the commonalities, and the coincidence? well a start I'd recommend
is a nifty book named "the celestine profecy" (I cant spell today, sorry).

Subject: coincidence

I would recommend you all check out a book called "the celestine prophecy"
it takes about insight and awareness, and explains in some detail what is
happening, and for example, the occurances on this list. It talks in general
terms which are applied throughout your life, and brings forth nine important
insights throughout the information.

there is a new book, which came out fairly recently, a sequel of sorts,
which covers the tenth insight, titled appropriately enough "the tenth insight".

I would highly recommend checking out "celestine prophecy" if even only from
a local library. it also talks about energy, the dynamics of family,
relationships, and why people act the way they do (control dramas).
-
it is very insightful and informative.

My biggest shock with this book was to find that the dedication seemed to be
written directly to me, which is of course normally not possible. :)

Wendy,

Loved your list! Why do you think I would rather believe in physical germs
than cyber sychronicity? I guess I get more societal approval the other way.

I had something similar to this 'flu' last winter and it localized in my
chest. I later thought it helped clear the heart chakra.

The pain is getting to me. Maybe I'd rather have blocked chakras. Maybe I
have no choice at this point.

that's what I found of it too. i think the biggest part (?) was the
knowledge that coincidence are not coincidence at all. It all (everything)
happens for a reason. although I still fight with little details, for small
seemingly insignificant events that never amount to anything even down the
road. but, the bigger ones I think are easier for everyone to work with.

Once you start to notice this shift in your life and move with it, it does
indeed seem to happen more and more often.

May I make a distinction?

My post concerned our rights to free speech, not morals.

Thomas Jefferson said, for every right we suppress becuase we are afraid, we
all lose precious liberty...and that loss may cause far more harm than the
thing we wished to prevent in the first place. And that those rights might
be very hard to ever win back. Plase understand that as the basis for my
post. Free speech.

I most humbly and respectfully request that you please direct comments about
specific postings to the person who made them, using specific frames.
Otherwise, no one will know what you are referering too. Please leave me out

The question of karma raised on this post seems one of perspective.
-
>From present time, we have only our present, and the consequences of our
actions to consider as things we can impact.

>From the perspective of one's whole life, say we are looking down from
above, or reviewing our past, we can see what we have already done to
generate the cause and effect motions.

>From the perspective on one who believes in reincarnation, the same
reasoning applies. We can view this lifetime as one where we can create what
we wish.

>From the perspective of many lifetimes, we could again see patterns from one

Can we change karma? My rule of thumb is that love and forgiveness break the
chain. And of course, that is something we do in present time, the only time
we have, anyway!

These crawling things are a real I did not notice them so much when I leave
the body because by that time the physical body is in a trance state and
there is no feeling at all. When I go into deep meditation then these

see the kundalini starting or wake up. After the kundalini wakes up in the
base of the spine. It then goes very fast back and forth between the third
eye and the base of the spine. When this happens just keep concentrating on
the third eye as it is also starting to open. Keep the light display going as
much as you can. You may not have another chance if the kundalini goes back

It is interesting that you are seeing blue in you room. It is possible that
you are having more awareness of the astrol plane. You are already going in
to the astrol plane but your awareness is not strong enough yet. The entities
are all light blue from my own experience.

Did any one else notice a different color other than blue for these entities?
 Just wondering.

Hi Michael!

Thanks for your message. Yes what you describe about the
spiritual masters who ask for money to dole out "spirituality" does sound
right. I was with SYDA foundation for more than 5 years. They used to
have two day "Intensives" that would cost $200-250, and in 1980s. And I
took several hundred of them, only to realise that I had wasted my money
and time. I have also read the book by Swami Rama that you describe. In
fact I have met the swami once in an elevator. He has a flat in the same
building here in Delhi. It is fascinating to read and think about such
masters who live in Himalayas, who can give so much. It is like a
romantic fairy tale. I am partially attracted to such things even now.
But the energy has taught me the truth, painfully and slowly. The real
helper is inside us. ONly he/she can really help. One can get entrapped
even with such realised masters, and loose our own individuality, and to
do things our own way. I feel the energy likes us to to do things our own
way and to discover things in our own way. Each one of us are an
expression of that vast creative power, and we have to respect that
expression of creation(us) first.
